Title: Counterparty: contracts on top of Bitcoin
Post by: Counterparty_XCP on September 30, 2014, 03:16:44 PM
As we pour over the recent successes of BitSharesX and contemplate the future successes of Crypto 2.0 networks like Ripple and Stellar, it is easy to overlook Counterparty, an advanced network already up and running atop Bitcoin.

Pure, unmitigated garbage.  A mere rip-off of mastercoin.  A very boring team with no presentation ability.  Will convince nobody to use this system.  Sell now.

I don't especially like the counterwallet. Some say that using bitcoin block chain "improves security", but it's just simply too slow for a functional AE. Tech development very slow and far from front edge. Saddens me to say this, but I think now that Swarm made a strategic mistake when they chose Counterparty instead of e.g. NXT as platform for their asset. Also in terms of marketcap of an asset, the marketcap of the platform bears a lot of meaning, and XCP marketcap is nothing to brag about.
