Unless they comme up with some centralized scheme like a PoS coin (faking decentralization) that will also collapse but for a different reason: it will devoid of any incentive to hold and therefore will be worthless. Again, not that I disagree with the point of the article (far from it), but something just doesn't feel right when I see a personal gain behind the article. Maybe just me... The value is worthless. Once the users got the crapcoins, dump them for bitcoin right away.

Or was that for dogecoin. I do a hope bitcoin tipping feature is implemented into many social networks / sites eventually, including this one.

There was a Reddit bitcoin tipbot, but I believe it was superseded by the changetip bot a few months ago, IIRC. Not to get too sidetracked, but a quick look at the changetip website says they are available on Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr Github, Stocktwits, Google+, and YouTube.
