It's not a relaunch, it's a takeover already started a while ago, we just made a completely new thread with all the new stuff to start it fresher.

The wallet works fine, just follow the instruction in the thread.

I will ask the SFRdev if he has already uploaded the new wallet but i think he did, so you should have a wallet with the new logo, please tell me if you don't.

Yes and I have saved vvxx wallet.dat but the problem is after downloading new wallet I couldn't open the vvxx wallet now and new vortex is not synching even after following all the steps in the downloaded file. So basically I can't do anything now. My old vvxx was working and staking properly. Really appreciate any help, thanks

I just tested on a new system. It didn't sync initially but after leaving it for about 10 minutes, the sync started. It just has to do with the network not being very strong yet.
Try leaving it open for about 10-15mins.

I just updated my old wallet with the new one following the instructions and everything worked perfectly fine.

What i did :

- Save my wallet.dat somewhere
- Copy the new blockchain in the roaming/vortex folder (without deleting all, just erase the files that were already here with new ones)
- Copy again my wallet.dat inside the folder
- Launch wallet and wait for sync (took 15 minutes)

Then i sent coin from c-cex to my wallet and wow, just wow. it took literally less than 5 seconds to be in my wallet and spendable, insane speed.

once 4k is broken we will fly up , for this we either need a new exchange or some good features / etas , anyways , I think there soon :)

You see on C-Cex 0 BTC Volume? That's why.

Bittrex is no charity they are after the money. If you want to see a coin on trex you need it to be moving several BTC volume on C-Cex first and it's not the case.

We need to keep updating the coin with new features until the general public opinion changes and interest is back.

Just tweet, speak about the coin on trollbox, do whatever you can to help spread the world. Just don't wait passively miracles because they don't happen unless you help them a bit.

Also please keep your wallets open and stacking. We can't even update the blockchain atm, there need to be more people with their wallet open.

You can have a look at the Saffroncoin wallet to get a clearer picture.

So will you create a custom exchange client in the wallet; the wallet will expose a GUI to the user allowing them to interact with existing exchange/s API?

The wallet itself will not be the exchange, i.e. you are not building a distributed P2P exchange?

It would not be a p2p exchange as of yet. P2P exchanges are not well detailed out yet. In the future we may look to build decentralized asset exchange built on vortex blockchain depending on how strong the community of vortex grows.

i borked my wallet somehow. was trying to unlock the wallet for stakeing, maybe i typed the rpc command wrong but setwalletpassphrase <pass> <long time> ended up in runtime error and quit the wallet. now when i restart it its runtime error, and quit unexpected closes. I downloaded the link again on the front page tried again, and tried again with a clean appdata roaming folder (backed up the wallet & chain)  any ideas?

I found my old VvXx wallet, so I try run this new wallet. When I run 'help' in console wallet ended up wit runtime error. And on everyone next run, it crash with runtime error. So, I can't staking my old coins.

I restarted my CPU and it worked again.. if you type anything in the console that isnt a proper command it quits the program.

Please don't blame anything on Roshan (Saffron lead dev). He was asked, by the Vortex takeover team, to help them with some features. Rosh was never the takeover dev and he actually made an agreement with the Vortex takeover team (lead by this dude https://twitter.com/liveatbudokan_ ) that he will continue to help Vortex as long as they eventually find a full time coder/dev. So if you guys have any complaints and want to point fingers, point them at the incompetence and carelessness of the takeover team, and not SFR dev.

I don't see how a liar and thief should be commended. This man made several promises, then he pumped VTX with many BTC, dumping 20 times higher than the price PREVIOUS to his promises. I bought about 40k, thus, only from me, he STOLE way over 1 BTC, but there are many fools involved, too lazy to talk.

After dump was over he goes back on his word and in the end, the thieving liar isn't even willing to put a wallet for the sorry fools to recover SOMETHING, probably waiting for his friends from C-Cex to "RELIEVE" us of our possesions.

Which thievery? I invested in that coin, did my best to help it gains value and failed. Then i realised how shitty it was, and took my heavy loss. (80% of my total BTC)

As for sfr dev what did he did wrong?

He tried to took over the coin which was a chinese scam in the first place, and promised he would temporarily develop for it until a permanent new dev was found.

He then realised the code was shitty beyond repair and still did his best to try save it and implement new stuff.

No new dev was found.

People dumped that shit and lost money. Now it's dead. End of story.
