Title: What if a pool hides the blocks found? Post by: Maxiride on October 07, 2014, 10:38:49 AM I recently found this (http://hackingdistributed.com/2013/11/04/bitcoin-is-broken/) article but while searching for more informations I didn't found other comments regard it or if the system is really in danger or not.

A pool makes money by broadcasting valid solutions to a block. By not doing so gives its competitors time to find a valid solution instead.

Once the block is generated,the reward of bitcoin will go to the pool's address and be broadcasted to the whole network. I know one type of scam pool, who never release the reward to miners.
