Title: Buying Signatures
Post by: 247casino on October 11, 2014, 08:00:58 PM
We're interested in buying signatures for several btc projects

I don't see an area where the site offers it other than here where it seems to be a wild west thing.

So PM me what you want to display ads for us for a week or month.

Thanks

We're probably gonna release the offer today or early next week in a proper 'offer' page as some have pointed out to me already via PM (thanks for all the pm's)

Right now I think it may be only open to upper tiered members

So PM me and if we open it to newer lower tiers you will get the link to the proper offer page when it is created.

Thanks for your interest

For signature campaign => Every level has its price, you should decide how much you willing to pay.
Because you're a newbie, maybe some members ask you to put the fund to escrow.

We got a nice amount of pm's, so the interest is clear.

From what I've been reading it seems most campaigns are targeting upper members due to I guess the ability to make the sig pop (larger sized text etc).

Then they seem to be requiring a minimum amount of posts.

They seem to be priced pretty closed to each other as well.

I'm still trying to find info on how the memberships scale, what number is needed by members to their tier, etc, and what type of sig differences are given to each tier.

I have seen some banners, but I guess that's the top ad they auction off, which may be an option instead of signatures.

Are banners allowed in sig's? Or is it just colors and size of text that a higher tier can use in sigs?

I'm searching for info but the limits they put on responses to pm's and posts and searches is making me have to keep coming back to the site, so I guess as my participation increases I will eventually be able to respond faster and search for info faster.

If anyone has a link to the page where the info on sig's for members is kept, thanks.

I keep responding to PM's and trying to post and then it says the usual you just did something withing 360 seconds, so even a search can't be done.

Very frustrating this time thing here.

The levels and formatting for signatures are detailed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

You need to be careful of people who will have multiple accounts and just have conversations with themselves.  One of the reasons so many sponsors favor higher level members is they are much less liable to spam.

The 360 thing is very limiting but it does go away over time.  You can read about it in the Limits On Posting section of the thread I linked.

There's lots of other things to consider, good luck.

Thanks for link, that is the info I needed, so SR and Hero are the tier's to size and that's the main pop that stands out, now I see why most sig campaigns want them.

I looked at the source of some pages to see how some sigs have what look like images (example the little dice in one and the nice btc image in another)

Not sure how that's being done, probably special characters?

So I guess it's now just make an offer page with details and a code

If we only want large sigs we put in only for sr and or hero

Then the code is pretty much the same

But we wanted to track each member since we have a perk program

Paid X for the sig but if it converts give a perk

The offer will probably be ready by early next week

Got to check on a few things to see what we want to focus on

Thanks for all the help and PM's

You just tell them to put in the link with code in the proper place. It is easy to spot, something like url=http://whatever.com

the link will be simple

https://domain.com/yadayada/refer=?usershandle

So when a join happens we can go to logs and see what users name brought them in

It should work

We have a good promo code system now for network members to push it in social media

But since we have logs we can daily scrub where new members came from

We like to give perks, so that's the concept

Take care of those that get you new clients

Yes, thats easy to do. Your signature designer will point it out in the code, and would put it as refer=?XYZ and instruct them to put their affiliation code in XYZ.

I can't respond to all the PM's due to the 360 second rule for new accounts here.

So I will update this thread and try to replay to most of the PM's here.

a. we will most likely only be using SR and Hero members.
b. all the lesser tiered members, our ad will probably not be offered to you.
c. the rate will be competitive to other campaigns
d. once the sig campaign starts it will be announced in the proper section

The reason we will only be asking Sr and Hero members is due to the size of the text their sig's can show.

So that is the reason why lesser tiered members will not be considered, the majority of users on this site and all forums are visitors and not members, and these type of viewers don't read deeply usually, so an ad would have to pop visually and the only ads that pop in our opinion are the large text and colored ads.

We expect the campaign to run indefinitely once it starts since this site is a huge part of bct, so as your member accounts upgrade to higher status such as Sr and Hero you will eventually be able to join it.

Thanks for all the response.

As you are new on the forum I'd like to give some advice on the ranks rule: Member and Full member signatures are still very much visible, not as much as Sr and Hero ( for a good reason ) and the reason most campaigns don't accept them is not because they're not as visible, but that there are simply too many members / full members, and that they don't care as much ( generally ) about post quality. You could always make like 5~ member / full member slots and make sure to monitor those participants closely. Just pay them less than the other ranks and it's cheap advertising. People WILL sign up, even if the payment isn't great. Signature campaigns are quite scarce today!

I'm getting paid 0.001 per post and weekly, if you can give me a little more I will join.
Also make sure to find an escrow person, to hold the funds during the signature campaign since you are a new member here.

Any idea about the max numbers of posts you considering to pay for by period?

Title: Re: Buying Signatures

It looks to me that most sig campaigns are

.X btc month
X min posts month
xyz (the tiers they want)

Based on what I've seen on other sig campaigns a person would need probably 50 min posts a month

Probably gonna be only senior and hero or legend

The big difference between us and the rest, is we target high stakes and have a traditional casino host setup where the whales get a ton of of spiffs

Then active players get spiffs

Plus we have a social media promo code thing where any member can discuss us in their social media and offer their handle as a promo code

So members get spiffs off their play activity like a real casino and they also get attached to new members that use their promo code

So in this campaign a bct member can use their handle in the code and then we know if it converts to a member that members spiffs are associated to the handle like the referral was a member

Bottom line is if anyone gets us a big player we want to know who it was to take care of them
