Title: BitcoinReminder.com is looking for an investor/takeover
Post by: Bitcoinreminder.com on October 14, 2014, 09:57:25 PM
Dear valued users,

BitcoinReminder.com is looking for an investor/takeover.

---[ WHY? ]-----------------------------------------------------------

Any payment service requires a very careful maintenance and we were doing so responsibly since 2011.

The service has never suffered any hack or a major technical problem, earning the trust of thousands of users.

However, since our time and resources are limited it's getting harder and harder for us to ensure perfectly safe and robust service performance. Also we are looking forward to a new bitcoin project, so we would like to free our time for the new one. It was (and is still) a great feeling to develop BitcoinReminder.com, but as time goes by, interest and direction changes.

---[ FOR SALE ]-------------------------------------------------------

Should you feel like buying BitcoinReminder.com, please submit an amount you are willing to pay to office@bitcoinreminder.com.

The highest amount wins the blind auction. If the bids are not enough from our perspective, we won't sell BitcoinReminder.com and continue the service.

This auction includes:
- complete source code (Ruby on Rails)
- bitcoinreminder.com domain
- database (enabling you to resume the service where it stopped)
- server scripts/configuration and monitoring recipes

The code base is relatively clean, conforms with ruby on rails conventions and is well tested. It should be easy to navigate for a rails programmer.

Deadline for submitting buy offers is on *Saturday*, 1 Nov 2014.

Thanks and happy trading,
Peter

A lot more stats need to be provided. I'm assuming not incorporated so no Financial Statements, but need basics such as Revenue, Profit, Costs.

Also user base stats such as do you have 100 users without email or phone, or 10000 with verified emails etc.

Potentially v. interested in this.

Hi haploid23,

Thanks for your interest.

At the moment I'm creating some password protected stats and question and answer pages which will be published (probably) over the weekend.
I will PM you with the necessary links and credentials.

Thanks and sorry for the delay - we got more response than we thought at the beginning and want to provide all data in a adequate manner.

Best,
Peter

It looks like a good site and I like the concept. I am interested in the site, for sure, but 7.5btc seems like a really high bid.  That's NETx50 according to profit report.  I usually buy sites at NET12 or NET20 at the absolute most ... I'm not sure why anyone would offer NET50 for a site, so I question whether the bidder will come through with a 7.5btc payment ... in the event he defaults, I would be willing to make a more reasonable offer based on the site's profitability, in the range of NET15.

Hello, me. Although I can't really tell if you're my #1 fan, or just my evil twin  :-\
