Just downloaded bitcoin-qt 0.6.2 on Ubuntu 12.04. My computer crashed for some reason with about 35000 to go on getting the block list. Now whenever I run it I get... Loading Block index... Runaway exception NSt8ios_base7failureECAutoFile::read: end of file. Any ideas? Title: Re: Bitcon-qt Runaway exception Post by: Raoul Duke on May 26, 2012, 09:52:59 AM Delete the blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat files that you find inside the .bitcoin folder inside your home dir and start over. If you can't see the folder press ctrl+H to unhide it.
