I'm looking for a sub $200 LGA2011 X79/C602 motherboard. I'm not too picky, would prefer 8DIMMs but not the end of the world if it has 4.

Hm..  Just go 1155?  It's hard to be picky over a few bucks when the technology is brand new.

Yeah perhaps if we had a better idea of what it was to used for, we could give alternate recommendations - for instance, video production, photoshoop work, server applications (database, web server, etc), or gaming.

Right now, Ivy Bridge is only available in the 1155 socket, although it supposedly is scheduled for the 2011 socket in Q2 of 2013.

Yes, 1155 will somewhat limit you in an application like that, if you intend to push it to its limits. For instance a maximum of 32GB of RAM, and reduced numbers of PCIe lanes for video cards. X79 still has a fairly low upper limit on memory capacity, only 64GB, so if you need more than that you will need a server-grade C600 series chipset.

I've googled a bit and there is no way you will be able to find an x79 or C602 chipset mobo for under $200, unless maybe you can find one used (kind of doubt it). It's kind of new for ebay though.

Yea, the reason for wanting X79 is because it supports the Xeon E5 series which I've got a good deal on. I've even looked into dual socket motherboards (Asus Z9PE-D8/16, Supermicro X9DAi, EVGA SR-X) as well and I just don't have the $500+ to get them.

Buy the chips and resell them, if they are a good price, and then you might have enough... What model(s) can you get for what price, and how many? I'd be in for a couple for my dual 2011 build, as long as I could sell my laptop, which no one seems to want to buy. :(

The E5 2687W Engineering Sample I'm getting for $510 (QAMT). The version that supports dual sockets is about $540 (QA92). I've looked into reselling them a bit but I don't think I would make too much off them. Other CPU models vary on price.

First, sure retail goes for $1800 but this is not that, it's an ES which is not officially supported by manufactures and slightly different then retail.
Second, it mainly aimed at servers. It's not aimed at the more general enthusiast market, this makes my target customers smaller.
And third, profit. I'm gonna make stuff up here since I don't know:
Bulk prices: QAMT $450 ea, QA92 470 ea.
eBay going rates: QAMT $580, QA92 $660. How much will evil eBay/PayPal charge me if I sell them at those rates? (Hint: A lot ~$55)  Using eBay/PP Calc: (http://www.newlifeauctions.com/calc.html)
Net profits: QAMT ~$75, QA92 ~$125

The main issues is that it's risky to invest ~$4700 on such a product even with the ~$1250 profit since the demand for this product is not that know and I have no real idea if I could sell them off in a reasonable time.

tl;dr: Profit at ~$100 per chip, but demand is questionable.

Also, that thing you're selling is not a laptop, it's a portable PC. You could bludgeon someone to death with it in one blow.

Why do you want a Xeon? The extra cores? Why not get a 3930k and overclock the piss out of it? Most will do 4.5ghz easy. The xeons can only overclock by strap which sucks since it overclocks everything.

Yea, it's for the extra cores. I will be getting a 3930k as well and play with the settings as well.
