Title: GLBSE Charts
Post by: GLBSE Raped My Cats on May 30, 2012, 12:04:08 AM
Why do they suck so bad? How am I supposed to trade like this?

Buy and sell, that's how you are supposed to trade.

Whining like a little spanked baby because the site actually makes you think and participate in your financial decisions is really not required. The charts work just fine for everybody else.

Yeah, but I thought it worth the few crumbs to point out that the problems this troll is having have nothing to do with the exchange and everything to do with their intellectual inability to understand the basics.

he has one post, and no white list request posts, How the hell did he get out of Newbie jail?

EDIT: Charts work fine IMHO. Also, didnt realize I was posting in newbie land. disregard the newbie jail comment.

Too advanced for him.
He would need something like this:

I think GLBSE works great. I have been trading on it since just before the 2.0 upgrade.

glbse is still in beta version- you won,t get much info about the companies listed (check the scam alerts on the forum). Also you will not get much movement in prices at the moment as BTC is fairly stable. My advice- choose a few you like the look of (mining and banks are good) and buy and hold for a long term investment- choosing one that pays dividends is the best approach I think. good luck. reg

are you guys serious? Those charts really suck. There is no way to zoom in (adjust time range). E.g. there is no way to see detailed recent activity on Gigamining. Or am I doing something wrong here?

At the risk of sounding cheeky... yes. You are investing in gigamining, that's your first mistake.

Second mistake is trying to apply any kind of market timing to a nascent market with absolutely no rational basis for movement whatsoever. GLBSE is the classic example of having a monkey throw darts at a list of names to select a portfolio, and then 90% of them will turn buster and jack your funds while sobbing about how they got hacked, or how difficult it is to run a business.

Do I use it? Yes, although I would be better off banging my head against a brick wall.
