Title: [ANN][P2POOL] p2pools on the siberia.mine.nu & crypto.mine.nu
Post by: sawa on November 08, 2014, 04:49:28 PM
To select a more optimal server in cmd, ping the specified DNS names:
Code:
ping siberia.mine.nu
and
Code:
ping crypto.mine.nu
And choose one where ping is smaller.

For workers use addresses only from your own wallets. Don't mine directly to exchanges' addresses!

Make sure you set custom difficulty when connecting to P2Pool node. Append "+difficulty" string to your P2Pool connection username. For example, if you are buying 2 THs of SHA256 power set your P2Pool connection username like this: "your-bitcoin-address+1024" (you can use any password), see also typical difficulty ranges:

Miner Speed Scrypt NScrypt X11 X13
0MHs-1MHs: d=256 d=128 d=0.01 d=0.01
1MHs-2MHs: d=512 d=256 d=0.02 d=0.02
2MHs-4MHs: d=1024 d=512 d=0.04 d=0.04
4MHs-8MHs: d=2048 d=1024 d=0.08 d=0.08
8MHs-16MHs: d=4096 d=2048 d=0.16 d=0.16

On Monday (21st December, 2015) at 13:00 GMT I will perform maintenance of the server  (upgrading OS, recompile wallets, etc.). Everyone who mine here please go to the other servers. I will try to turn my server on as quickly as possible.

@sawa

Nice selection of p2pool nodes supported here. Our Cloudminer.com (https://cloudminer.com) only supports Bitcoin and Litecoin nodes across US and EU servers but we'll be expanding with new altcoins soon so miners can BUY or SELL hashes in new algo's. Your efforts are good example of the options available for miners that want to move to the p2pool networks available. Good job.

Auroracoin has become multi-algo.
I did pools with 3 algorithms:
GROESTL: http://crypto.office-on-the.net:12351
SCRYPT: http://crypto.office-on-the.net:12347
SHA256d: http://crypto.office-on-the.net:12349

Hello admin, I use CCminer with skein algoritme for to mine AUR. My question is: has the -f parameter (Difficulty divide factor) influence or is it ignored at your pool?

Hello, I didn't work with ccminer and I don't know how this parameter works.
You can set share difficulty for your miner on p2pool. It`s simple, just add /0+0.00xxxxx to address.
Play around and choose the best value for you. More info is here => http://xpool.net/faq.html

VTC node SegWit Upgrade
I have corrected this node http://crypto.office-on-the.net:9171 for mining on it with rental rigs from https://www.nicehash.com and https://www.miningrigrentals.com

To those who mines on my crypto.office-on-the.net:
I have a second, backup channel to my server. It is faster than the main one in some directions.
You can connect your asics to it. Ports of the pools are the same that on crypto.office-on-the.net, only the address changes to crypto.mine.nu
For example: crypto.office-on-the.net:9332 changes to crypto.mine.nu:9332

You can check, on which channel its better to mine with these commands:  (in terminal, console, command line)
Code:
ping crypto.office-on-the.net
and
Code:
ping crypto.mine.nu
Pass the asics to the channel where the ping is smaller

The difference between crypto.office-on-the.net and crypto.mine.nu is that the first is on a permanent IP address, and the second is on a dynamic IP address.
When IP address of crypto.mine.nu changes (it happens about once a month), this change is made in DNS for 10 minutes maximum. Accordingly, at this time, the asics will go to the backup nodes, but if crypto.office-on-the.net is specified as a reserve then mining will not be stopped. In fact, this is the same server, only connected through different providers.

Added this coin:
http://crypto.office-on-the.net/logos/digibyte.png DGB Forum:DigiByte(GROESTL) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=408268.0) P2Pool: http://crypto.office-on-the.net:5021 || http://crypto.mine.nu:5021
Code:
sgminer --algorithm myriadcoin-groestl -o stratum+tcp://crypto.office-on-the.net:5021 -u DigiByteAddress -p x --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-extranonce
or
sgminer --algorithm myriadcoin-groestl -o stratum+tcp://crypto.mine.nu:5021 -u DigiByteAddress -p x --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-extranonce
I haven't found any more nodes and there is no one to connect to, so this pool is turned out to be a solo pool. Pay attention to the "DGB network hashrate (estimate)" - it's pretty big. The speed of the DGB network on this algorithm is decent and to earn something in a reasonable time it is necessary to apply powers of about 1GH/s.
Note that myriadcoin-groestl algorithm is not for asics.
Soon I will add nodes with sha256d, scrypt, skein and qubit algorithms for this coin. In order not to offend the owners of the asics  ;)

sawa,

What about this address: low-doa.mine.nu ?

I found your node here:

http://82.200.205.30:9332/static/

This information is there:

There are 3 p2pools (all 0% fee) in this sample configuration. If the first pool shuts down, the miner will automatically switch to the next one.

You can use these pools:

Pool 1: 82.200.205.30:9332   - 300ms+

Pool 2: low-doa.mine.nu:9332 - averages 200ms

Pool 3: 31.41.40.25:9332 - avergaes 200ms

Which should I use?

I checked the other addresses you mentioned at the thread start:

crypto.office-on-the.net - 300-350ms

crypto.mine.nu - averages 280ms

Thanks!

Although the quality of work on the node depends not only on ping, it is advisable to use nodes with the smallest ping.
You can choose where to mine using the public node scanners:
http://p2pool.org/stats/node_scanner.php
https://p2pool.coinpool.pw/
My nodes are stable but far from you. I advise you to use them as backup pool.

I've switched over my BTC nodes to jtoomimnet.
Now both http://crypto.office-on-the.net:9334 and http://crypto.office-on-the.net:9332 work in one network
Who was mining at port 9334 can connect your asics to port 9332, if you do not want to pay me 1% fee - there's 0% fee.
It is better to switch to http://crypto.mine.nu:9334 or http://crypto.mine.nu:9332 - this is a faster channel to the same server where crypto.office-on-the.net is

http://crypto.mine.nu:9332 - BTC(0% fee, ForrestVnet)
Currently hashrate: Local rate: 3.11 TH/s (DOA 214.18 GH/s / 6.88%)
The resources used by the node (the moments of the maximum CPU load):
http://crypto.office-on-the.net/img/p2pool-btc-forrest.png

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Processor

DGB (Scrypt) p2pool http://crypto.mine.nu:5025 was idle for a long time and no one was mining there, this has led to the fact that shares have become old. Your power was not enough to push these shares. Currently p2pool was speeded up by the miners on the other node. The global hasrate has risen:
Global pool rate is 1.74 GH/s now
And the pool started to catch the blocks.
Unfortunately this is how p2pools work: when you stop mining on them and the shares become obsolete, you need powers to speed up a pool. And this process is accompanied by a significant DOA.
Currently, it is possible to mine there. Pool is speeded up, so DOA will not be significant.
And the blocks will be found stable in accordance with the calculation

Yes, I tried yesterday about 4-5 hours, but only get ca 5,5 AUR.. this is to low for 9 Asics... More costs than profit. There was only one Miner in the Pool and the Netshare was about 120 GH.
But I didn't found another pool mith more than 15 GH which is mining AUR, so I think the rest is ZPool...
Maybe here in Forum are a few more Miners which are able to mine AUR, so the Pool is bigger and get more Blocks...Found 7 Blocks yesterday, in the same Time zpool mined about 25

We will start tomorrow with mining on : http://crypto.office-on-the.net:12355

I think with 80 GH/s it would be able to mine AUR with profit for our miners and we can get more Blocks then Zpool at the moment ;.)

What address do you mine to? Check payments to it in the block explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/. All workers, who are now mining on CANN node, get payments with each block. If you specified the deposit address of the exchange and do not receive transactions on your address, then ask at the exchange. Its better not to mine to the deposit addresses of exchanges on the p2pool. Exchanges can appropriate generated transactions. You need to install a wallet, and mine to it. Other miners say that they mine to http://bittrex.com/ and http://poloniex.com/ deposites, but I personally do not.

Mined today from 10 - 22
received 55 Dollars

but from 21.00 there was only 1 Block found so i decided to switch to another coin...
zpool is mining AUR on Qubit and found the most blocks. As long as the pool is so small, there is no profit.

Today until 21:00 was the AUR Network only the crypto.office Pool and mining was with profit.

You can look at the block explorer, whether there were transactions to your address
If there is a payment in the explorer block but in your wallet they do not appear, then your wallet is not synchronized.
The number of blocks in the your wallet should coincide with the number of blocks in the block explorer of this coin http://chain.kzcash.kz/

I'm testing the sending of the donate to all the miners that mine on the p2ool through the built-in p2pool function "patron_sendmany"
There was a sending of 1KZC transaction already  http://chain.kzcash.kz/tx/a7c9270f5182e4779085994ba25104b6aa69419db95eca5c8d14903645e93dd4
For all, who wants to participate and get a reward in addition to payments from p2pool - I'll send 2KZC after a couple of hours, and then 6KZC after 2 hours.
I want to see, if distribution of reward between a large number of miners is correct
If everything works correctly then all p2pool miners will get a surprise (I will announce after the experiment)
You can mine on any node of p2pool KZC, the reward is distributed between the miners of all nodes.

It's about the KZCash coin. Its wallet is here: https://www.kzcash.kz/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=2&lang=en&Itemid=130#wallets

Dear miners!
The P2Pool community announcing an unprecedented promotion.
All miners, who mine KZCash coins on any P2Pool node will get bonuses on November 16, 2017! The total amount of coins for the share is 250 KZC.
The distribution of bonuses will be made automatically on November 16 at 24 h 00 min by Astana local time (18:00 GMT) in accordance with the current % in the distribution stayed from the next found block.
Example - if your wallet should receive 0.45KZC from the found block (2.25 KZC) at the moment of distribution of coins, then you will receive 20% of the bonus fund - 50KZC.
Given the feature of accruals on P2Pool - smooth achievement of maximum payments, we advise you to switch to work with any of the P2Pool nodes mining KZC in advance (at least 3 days).

Is there a problem with the AuroraCoin SHA256d pool?
no global hash rate and all I am getting is rejected shares.

Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of old shares on this node. It is necessary to enter a small power and gradually raise it. Do not allow the DOA to be about 100 percent. As soon as the old shares are knocked out of the shareshain, then the node will start working normally

I'm not sure what you mean by enter a small power.

I've got a 5GH/s ASIC device.
the pool is setting my difficulty to basically 0.007
I've tried forcing it to /0+6 but it won't go above pool settings.
I've also tried setting expiry, queue and scan setting with no difference.

I've got an additional 40GH I'd like to put on it but it just creates more Rejects/DOA and stales than anything.

EDIT:

Ok, it looks like after a couple of hours of submitting replacement shares .. it's back to normal.

Thanks.

I’ve been mining on the dash pools for a while now and just seen something I’ve never seen before...
My wallet address is missing the last 3 block payments and the last payment was for a block not even on the pool block list...
My hashrate has been consistent and no drop outs so don’t understand why my wallet receipts suddenly don’t match the pool block list.
Can anyone help explain?

Three blocks in statistics - orphans,
http://crypto.mine.nu:7903/static/classic/share.html#00000000000000222f0af4f43ff173987fde9410fc5f9865f34a5b410ed0f92f

On what node they were found I do not know. Probably these nodes are experiencing network problems.
You can find them at the addresses of workers if you want: XcADs7dYBgZwp7GY4r25GV9Bzx6BdVj6DY, XnwuwfPhuFANd9Bz8fPEt9G3wZSgJS9126,  XhXMahooTgty7jLQAbbRLLHBWeJWy4F1Lv
And one real block did not register in statistics

I asked the developers of DASH p2pool: https://github.com/dashpay/p2pool-dash/issues/43
https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/so-many-orphaned-blocks-as-found-today-have-never-been.23115/

For all miners,  who mine on the DASH p2pool (not only on my nodes).
After updating the DASH wallets to version 0.12.2.2, the DASH network began to generate many orphans.
This can be seen on the graph: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/orphans.dws
Almost 90% of the blocks found by the P2Pool are Orphans. I informed the developers of the DASH P2Pool
https://github.com/dashpay/p2pool-dash/issues/43

A similar message was received by the developers of the coin itself from the owner of another pool https://github.com/dashpay/dash/issues/1822

In both cases, the developers claim that everything is normal and there are no problems, we must wait until the network is stabilized.
So the miners have only 2 options: either to wait for the network to stabilize, or to go to other coins with the X11 algorithm.
If you stay on the DASH p2pole, then only at your own risk. I do not see a decline in the number of orphans in a couple of days.

Looking at CANN and keep seeing a wallet address appearing every hour which has only 1-2GH/s but is immediately earning 3-4 times in CANN what is being earned per share using 50-60GH/s.
I looked at the wallet and it is a Bittrex account with over 6,500+ wallet addresses attached to it.

Anyone got any idea about this and how they get immediate high income with such low hashing power??

You were need to specify the address, that caused your suspicion. Likely, that it's way more simple that it looks: someone is with high power mining to this address on one of connected nodes. Several ASICs have a bad connection and they periodically switch to my node, that is specified as the backup.

4 petahashes has come to BCH p2pool. The predicted time for the block was reduced from 20 to 4 days
You can  connect to the BCH mining if you want
Addresses of nodes:
http://crypto.mine.nu:9338
http://siberia.mine.nu:9338

Accordingly, here is the configuration of the asic:
URL: crypto.mine.nu:9338, Login: Your_BCH_Address, Password: x
URL: siberia.mine.nu:9338, Login: Your_BCH_Address, Password: x

You can find the wallet of 0.16.2 version here: https://download.bitcoinabc.org/0.16.2/
Wallets of the latest version generate addresses in Bech32 format
You can convert new BCH addresses of Bech32 format to the old format here: https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/
You should mine to addresses in the old format, starting with '1'

The DGB node (sha256) behind the IP address 69.138.110.229 generates orphan blocks.
Most likely the configuration of the daemon is incorrectly configured.
In the digibyte.conf configuration file, you need to specify the algorithm:
algo = sha256d

This is one of the features of p2pool. If no one has worked there for a long time, the shares become obsolete, the difficulty will not increase until they are forced out of the shareshain

I've updated DGB-SHA256 p2pool software.
Now workers' names and nicehash are functioning on p2pool DGB sha 256 nodes.
Stratum difficulty autoselection works too.
Stratum is corrected to the standards. Now all Pangolins, Bitfuries and Whatsminers that didn't work before, will work here.
My DGB p2pool nodes (sha256):
