My account is showing that "You have bee banned...........Linkspam(5 days)"

what does it mean?

Yes. For exactly what it says; Link Spam, the ban will expire in 5 days.

You shouldn't use your alt accounts except here on meta, or your alt accounts could get banned as well.
The ban on your main account could also be extended for ban evasion.

I am using it from a different browser. Won't that be okay?

yes you are banned for 5 days and ban will removed automatically after 5 days

No. You personally are not able to post/send PM's during the time that any of your accounts are banned from any of your alt accounts with the exception of posting in Meta.

This rule really should be posted in a more clear manor but it is the rule (ban evading)

Still ban evasion but you can try get away with it if you wish, but I'd just wait your short ban out instead of running the risk of further bans on all your accounts.

What he said. If you get banned, you're banned for a reason. Making a new account for ban evasion, or any other method intended to evade your ban should be bannable though. When you're using a different browser or IP address, we may not know it's you, but you're still breaking the rules, and you should be banned again upon discovery

It's still your account, regardless of which browser you access it from.
