Title: So who's gonna part out their Mini-rig?

Each of the 17 cards run at 1.5 GH/s

Just browsing the BFL website. The minirig has 17 modules at 1.5GH/s...

So you buy the Mini-rig for 15k...and part out and sell the 17 modules for $1500 a piece!

From a seller perspective, this is a great investment, and from a buyer's perspective, you're buying one of the fastest FPGA cards out there.

Only problem I can see is finding a suitable bitstream. Idk tho, cuz I'm not well versed in such areas.

Anyone else think this is a possibility?

If 2 singles deliver more than 1 module and costs less than $1500, why would anyone buy one for $1500?

No-one.

1. If you part it then you can't send it back to fund the ASIC.
2. For $1800 you can have 3 Singles, which is 2500mhash, so paying $1500 for 1500mhash is not a good investment contrary to your post.
3. The 3 Singles can be returned for full refund credit toward ASIC purchase, I doubt a ripped out module will be accepted.
