Only Litecoin and dash is surviving...others are worthless. The more money people will put in to altcoins...bitcoin price will be slowed down. There may be some coins but it's hard to believe that any coin will be able to beat bitcoins. I keep an eye on a few altcoins but I don't feel any of them in the present day will ever be able to take over bitcoin. I agree with the fact that there may be coins which are out of radar and will give a better return in terms of investment than bitcoin.
