Title: Is Askcoin.net fiddling with their market histories?
Post by: JohnnyLightning on December 02, 2014, 07:15:57 PM
I transferred some BlackCoins to askcoin.net because the market history showed some profitable trades.  My asking price was the lowest, and they sat there all day yesterday.  There were trades both below AND above my ask, yet when I checked the Top Sell Orders and Top Buy Orders throughout the day (every hour or so) there were no changes to them.  Seems fishy, like maybe the site owner is putting in phony history info to get folks to make deposits.  Am I missing something?

If you used twitter login, you should de-activate their twitter app.
They sent lots of spam tweets from my account. When I saw that i decided never to click a link of them.

I don't use twitter to log in, but thanks for the tip.  I have another coin for sale on their site because it isn't listed anywhere else I know of, and I'm seeing the same thing.  Lots and lots of trading volume that seems to appear magically out of nowhere.
