Title: S3+ B11 boot problems
Post by: Codemeister on December 04, 2014, 01:16:15 AM
Hey all,

I have a S3+ B11 right here which stopped working. I'm not sure why, but after I changed the IP I cannot connect to the machine anymore. I tried resetting the machine but nothing worked. The green LED and the red LED are on (not blinking, both just on). When I run a network scan I can see the IP from the machine, but I cannot ping it or connect to it.

I tried a crossover cable, setting a static IP to my computer and connecting it 1on1, tried resetting it.... I got no ideas left. Do you guys have any suggestions or ideas?

Edit: when I try resetting the machine, the LEDs just stay on.

After reading pretty much all related posts on Bitcointalk, still no working solution for this issue. Help! :(

Yes I did find out it is using 192.168.0.180 in a IP scanning tool, but I cannot ping or reach it. Cannot reset, as that button does nothing...

Maybe you should have posted this in the "S3 support thread" so they can help you.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671189.0   (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671189.0)

Follow-up on this issue: controller board has been sent to Bitmain for replacement.

Please post when you get it working. It will be interesting to know support times, repair times, shipping times and therefore overall down time.
