Backgammon is two-player game. You can create a new game, join to existing game waiting in lobby or you can invite your friend. Note the "Invite a friend" button in the lobby - you send generated unique game URL to your friend to join him.

Hi, I tried to play roulette, which is the game I mostly play at any casino and I couldn't get it to work, it didn't let me place bets, now I don't know if this was problem with my browser or not but I play with the same browser at other casinos and face no such problems.

You should at least have a bonus or free bitcoins to play your site since how do we know if free play is the same as money play.

Thanks for your question.

Keep in mind that you must place bets by mouse clicking on board pockets. After that you can press "Spin" button.

If you still cannot start a new game, can you please report your browser and its version, please?

You can verify it yourself, all games are provably fair. Just try it - minimal bet limit is 0.001 m฿

Anyway we are planning some bonus programs in the future. Then we will announce it here.

The website looks different, it doesn't look like its the same design.

Maybe they changed it already. Either way many wont trust a website if the design is copied.

Yes, you can either:
  • create a new game and wait for the first player who will join your game
  • join already created game with waiting player in the lobby
  • invite a friend - Create a new game by "Invite a friend" button. After that a unique game URL will be generated which you share with your friend. Game begins when he/she access the URL. Note that these games are private and not accessible from public lobby.

How much commision or the rake does the casino charge for these PVP kind of games?

  • House commission is 3% from prize of winner. House commission is 1% of winner prize now.
  • Loser doesn't pay any commission.
  • No additional fees.

For deposits only one confirmation is necessary.

What impressed me until now:
-European Roulette has the real sequence of numbers +1
-Video Poker has the chance of multiple betting +1
-Blackjack is quite good( bigger cards would be a super +1)
Edit:
-First time I see solitarie getting real on a btc game! +1

I made a deposit today of 0.01 btc, won 0.015 and still waiting for it to be withdrawed.

How long do you take to process withdrawals?

EDIT : I received my 0.015 btc. Thanks.

EDIT : your gambling software doesn't accept decimals? I had 2mBtc, I bet 0.5, lost it, it showed as I  only had 1mbtc, I bet another 0.5, won, it showed I only had 1 mbtc?
I am sure that I still have 0.5 in there, not 0 mBTC like it says. Please look into it, my withdrawal address is 1KingZeeW97uLvngcUA3R6QJx18Fn78ddb

All deposits and withdraws are processed now. Currently an operator manually checks every transaction in order to prevent any error (aka Mt.Gox). In couple of days transaction processing will be switched to auto-mode (1 confirmation for deposit / 2 confirmations for withdraw). Sorry for the delay.

Don't worry about your balance less than 1 mBTC. Balance is saved with precision for eight decimal places just rendering into web page is rounded to mBTC for graphical design reasons. Anyway thank you for suggestion, when balance is lower than 1 mBTC, decimal places should appear.

We are going to implement a few new games, but unfortunately dice is not among them now. Maybe later but not in the near future.

For now you can try Sic Bo (http://coinxerox.com/sic_bo)

Thanks for feedback, we take it very seriously.

Because your suggestion is quite common, we probably reorder our TODO games list and put the dice game at the top.

Maybe there was some time delay because 1 confirmation is required.

Wow, i like solitare game
And with free bitcoin  ;D

maybe you want to add feature PvP ?

Solitaire PvP? I have no idea how to do. Any suggestions are definitely welcome.

Anyway, by playing Solitaire you are participating in progressive Jackpot (small portion of your stake is going to Jackpot). When you successfully finish game (all cards are in foundation stacks) you win 52 * winning for single card + Jackpot prize. The Jackpot prize depends on your bet size - if you want to play for whole Jackpot you must place max bet, 50% of max bet to win 50% of Jackpot etc.

In other words, you partly playing against other players - against their bets in progressive Jackpot.

Bug 1: In Carribean Stud Poker wins do not credit. ???
My balance was 66. Now @ 58 after winning some and losing few. Please verify and credit the remaining amount.
I see I have no access to bet history?

Bug 2: In solitaire when you move a card to somewhere and quickly move the card below it to somewhere, the moved card gets stuck.

Bug 3: My deposit even after credit, shown as "pending" under transactions.

I have stopped playing and is waiting for bug 1 to be fixed and my wins credited.. I had requested a withdrawal for part of my balance.

???
Can you please check about the 1st one?

I am going to try slitaire again.

lol. lost them :P

Anyway, we will do a complete inspection of Carribean Stud Poker code. If there is some bug, we have to find it and fix it.

Please be patient, it will take some time (maybe a day). Do not throw out your current account credentials, if there were a bug we will credit your winnings to your account and will inform you here.

Thank you for your reports very much. Going through them one by one.

Deposited 2.5 mBTC.

I verified the bug. It indeed does not credit winnings. Losings are deducted.

It however does not appear for play money bets. In play money bets, there is only a delay. but it gets credited alright.

Carribean Stud Poker uses one game engine for all of currencies. If there is a bug, it must be same for Play Money. Except for situation of rounding - Play Money min bet is 1.

We have full log of played games. Any not credit winnings will be added if so.

Thanks for report.

Currently 10 mBTC for withdraw is minimum limit with no additional transaction fee. As was discussed in Dice game dedicated thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=911761.0), we are going to lower this minimum limit to 1 or 0.5 mBTC.

For testing/micro-gaming, please use Free Bitcions program - just win Tic Tac Toe.

I was implying what is the policy on bug bounties. As in bounty sizes.
Is it beneficial for the finder to report them, or is better just to abuse them. There's so many casinos lately who screw over the person who found the weakness.

Hi ndnhc,

I focused and solved the problem with Carribean Stud Poker you reported yesterday.

There is no bug in backend, all winnings are correctly credited to account balance. There is only problem in JavaScript side code, which renders HTML page. All server data and processing is correct.

When you place bet, the stake is not decreased from your balance - it stays the same. However page refresh update balance label to valid value - server data are correct. This is the credit delay as you wrote. Try to play a game and after every your action do page refresh, then you will see that your balance is always right.

I already have a fix of this bug and I'm going to deploy it tomorrow along with other fixes. Thus hurry up, if you want to test it once more. :)

Thanks ndnhc for your report.  ;)

Currently we have no such bug report policy. If you know some major security bug which we don't, we would like to know it - absolutely.

Although how much costs such report and how to determine that a report is valuable for us? Do you have any previous experiences, do you already collaborate with some other game sites?

Not having a policy in place already shows you have no long term interest in keeping your operations. Bug reports and bounties go hand in hand as they make the experience more enjoyable for users and on critical ones keep you or your clients from loosing money.

So when determining bug bounties.
a) If it is a minor bug (such as bad front-end coding, cosmetic errors) you need to evaluate if removing the bug makes it more enjoyable for the users and keeps them playing and even returning. A broken site is not tempting for the users.
b) On critical bugs the bounty should be determined about the severity of the bug. If a user is capable of beating one of your games and withdrawing funds using those funds. How much would you loose, and how much are you willing to spend to ensure it wont happen.
c) Another critical bug where one player is capable of removing other users funds, betting using their balance or other malicious activities. How much is your users security worth?

When deciding you need to understand that not everyone is interested in reporting the issue, there is plenty of people who will abuse any found weakness.

On cosmetical weaknesses offering 0.01 or around it, maybe more is fine i believe.
But on critical weaknesses offering something like 0.01 will get your weaknesses sold to other users who are not so kind.
Ive seen bounties go from 0.5-10btc on critical ones but it is dependent on the severity.

That is usually the way it goes.

As for the last part, i have done basic testing for various sites. (Mostly softcore testing)

Some proof of concepts go for like $20,000+.
Personally I report serious bugs without expecting a bounty (unless it's a very large company) because that's what any decent person in the ITsec field would do. ITsec isn't about being a black hat, it's about increasing cyber security as a whole.

New Version Released

Hi guys,

we just release a new Version of CoinXerox. There is no new game today. This version includes set of minor improvements and bug fixes.

The most important ones are:

  • Minimal withdraw limit is 1 mBTC (no transaction fee stays same)
  • Free Bitcoins can be requested up to six times in the last hour.
  • You can request free Bitcoins when your balance is less than or equal to 10 satoshi (zero is not required anymore). Because some games min. bet is 10 satoshi.
  • Reverse Labouchère betting system was added among Dice game bots.
  • Fixed bug of updating balance HTML label during game play (Caribbean Stud Poker, Blackjack, Video Poker, Sic bo, Roulette).
  • Fixed deposit state rendering at player transactions page.
  • ... and some other minor ones ...

Thanks all of you for reporting and helping us to make CoinXerox site a little bit better again. We are going to proceed...

There is currently no API function how to get max bet amount. Actually it is not necessary to be concerned with that. When your bot will try to place a bet with amount over max bet, it will fail and your bot will automatically stop its execution.

Hope I understand your question. Feel free to ask again if necessary.

I would like the backgammon game, I will tell my friends to play it :D

Do not forget for "Invite a friend" button in the lobby. Create a new game and join your friend just by sending  game URL address to him or her.

And use Play money mode if you are not sure your friend has deposited account at CoinXerox.

Good luck

Can't win tic tac toe... sigh... too hard :( I'm assuming the prize is tiny too.

FYI, it gives you 0.005 mBTC, after you beat the bot (sometimes it is super dumb and doesn't try to stop me when I already have 3 connected).

Got addicted to it in Windows 95.

Currently, we are working on three new games, but minesweeper is not among them. However I believe you will enjoy them as well.

Nice website but can't you have a faucet similar to thecoins.net because I think they are making a killing.

Thanks. Site thecoins.net doesn't work on me so I don't know its faucet.

However, keep in mind that Tic Tac Toe bot does not want to defeat you, it tries to block you only. When you start from the middle of grid, it's really easy to make opened three points line. Then you must win! After a few games it's a mechanical matter.

You're right. Although I'm a co-author of the CoinXerox Solitaire, when I try to play it once, I must play it again and again. These simple classical games are the most addictive ones.

Hey guys,

we found out that some sound files at CoinXerox is not playable by all web browsers (until you have 7.1 sound system). Namely:
  • Backgammon checker hit
  • Backgammon roll dice
  • Roulette spinning
  • Dice clink
  • Video poker hold card

Updated sound files are already at server. However your web browser may still hold old sound files in its cache. If you don't hear any of these sounds yet, simply press Ctrl+F5 (forced refresh) in your web browser.

Hi guys,

according to server logs we found out that newcomer players had problems to start new games because of wrong cookies initialization. Anyway the bug is fixed now.

Unfortunately nobody gives a feedback to us and we had to find the problem in server logs. Therefore we added a link referencing to this thread into the CoinXerox page footer.

Please, if you have any problem, post it here or mail us to address at support page. Thank you in advance.

Tic Tac Toe bot does not want to defeat you, it tries to block you only. You may have problem when you worry the bot too much, so you play too defensively. Start from the middle (in order to make open three points line) and play as offensively as possible. Then it's really easy to defeat the bot.

Thanks for feedback.

Please, can you tell from which email service did you try to send email? Receiving BitcoinTalk notification email of your message is ok.  ???  Did you received some "email not delivered" response? If so can you please post the error detail in that email.

Blackjack answer: Game does not finish when the dealer has blackjack, because the second card is hidden. The second card is revealed only after you finish your betting.
Please note the Insurance option during game-play. When the first (already revealed) card of the dealer is Ace, you can insure yourself against dealer's blackjack.

I also wonder do you have a problem to contact support by email? Would you rather prefer more anonymous communication e.g. system of tickets, on site chat etc.?
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Rakeback – some of your Bitcoins are back

We gave all Blackjack players 0.2% of their bets back.

Why?

Today, we have pointed out that in Blackjack rules there is a clause "Dealer peeks for Blackjack", although current version of game implementation does not peek for Blackjack.

In general US casinos commonly peek for Blackjack but European does not. These rule variants differs in house edge. In perfect game play, it's 0.03% for splitting and 0.08% for doubling, thus 0.11% in total.
We decided that we refund not 0.11% but 0.2% as an excuse.

Please, check out your account balances  ;)

If you wonder more about Blackjack statistics, see:
  • http://wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/rule-variations/ (http://wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/rule-variations/)
  • https://www.blackjackinfo.com/blackjack-rules/rule-variations/ (https://www.blackjackinfo.com/blackjack-rules/rule-variations/)

P.S. Thank you bdubee for the notice.

Yes there are a few issues with blacj jack. When u state in the rules dealer peeks. Then it let you split or double is far from fair. Apparently refunds were sent out. So well see. Few other minor bugs. I was finally able to email support. I sent copy of the bounce back email to support. Hope it helps.

great site, has loads of good games!
The dice game is very well made and custom botting is also a great feature that I've never seen on other dice games.
I made a few withdrawals, all of them were ok except for one that was sent without a miner fee so I'm gonna have to wait for days maybe...
I just wish there was more history and stats to display.

Great work, keep it up!

edit: is there a problem with withdrawals? I have 4 new pending withdrawals been waiting over 4 hours

You can request free Bitcoins (by Tic Tac Toe game) up to six times in the last hour. No other restriction.

There isn't any withdraw fee. But anyway, I think transactions under 1 mBTC is a blockchain spam. After Bitcoin exchange rate rise, we can change this minimal limit.

Although we have already implemented instant payouts a couple of months ago, an operator still manually checks and confirms the payouts. Development of new features is so rapid that we decided to postpone this functions already a few times, in order to prevent some exploit.

Anyway, thank you for feedback. Because you are not alone with this request, we prioritize that in our development plan.

Thanks for report.

Can you specify the issue, please?

  • Is the card stuck so you cannot move it at all? Or you get an error when you move it?
  • What web browser do you use? Version number would be helpful too.
  • Does the error persist after game page refresh?

Your answers will help us to resolve this problem.

Well... I couldn't move the card at all It was stuck.. So I forfeited the game

I use CHROME not sure sure the version

ok, thanks. We will take a look at the problem.

According to your information it seems that problem is in web page. If you see a stuck card again before we fix it, simply try to refresh page. It should help.

EDIT: Note that you don't lose game when you refresh page.

Buggy as hell on top of a high house edge. I tried solitaire, and every few seconds it kept forcing me to refresh because of some error.

Buggy as hell on top of a high house edge. I tried solitaire, and every few seconds it kept forcing me to refresh because of some error.

There were several JavaScript errors in the first Solitaire version. However the errors were fixed during time and I don't remember any flaw in the past about two months when I play Solitaire. No software is bug free but current version is pretty stable, I think.

If you have a problem with Solitaire, can you post its description, please?

With respect to house edge, remember that it's a game of skill. It's common that when you overlook a single card you should play with, this overlook can determine the outcome of the entire game. In practice, the real house edge is dependent how carefull your game-play is. In case you stop doing mistakes, house edge is low.

Anyway, in our development plan, we have a note about Solitaire. We consider to make Solitaire more tolerant to player's mistakes - to allow infinitive going around deck. This would have a big impact on payouts, because it minimizes impact of player's mistakes.

Can you look into my Ole Miss bet again. It's tough to read on the bet slip but it says +4. Everyone had Ole Miss as the underdog. I'm 100% sure the bet was +4, not -4 on your screen as well as my bet slip.

I just made a bet on UAB +14. The "+" looks the same as Ole Miss. Check the betslip.

I just made a bet on UAB +14. The "+" looks the same as Ole Miss. Check the betslip.

I looking at the bet slips inside outside and I figured out the reason of our misunderstanding. Rendering of bet slip HTML page is confusing. When you place bet on AH/EH away team, the handicap sign is inverted.

In fact, you just made a bet on UAB -14. Because you bet on away team, it's rendered as -1 * -14 = 14. It seems that this need a fix.

EDIT: You can see the confusing print, when you add a home side AH and then you change it by clicking on the away side of the same AH line. AH line sign is rendered with opposite sign.

UAB is +14. There's a huge difference between +14 and -14. It's just that your "+" is tough to read but if you look close you will see UAB +14 and Ole Miss +4

Definitely, there is a huge difference between -14 and +14.

However, there is an issue at the web. Bet slip handicaps on the away side are shown with opposite sign. Try to selected the same handicap of any match - firstly home side and then away side. Bet slip shows opposite sign of handicap (although the right value is finally used).

do a copy/paste. For some reason the "+" shows up huge on Ole Miss and UAB. It's a tiny "+" on the bet slip but normal on copy/paste

Font used on web site is different, therefore "+" character can be slightly different.

Anyway, your bet slips are stored as follows:

Code:

AH = Asian Handicap, not away and home.

Yes, AH. However when I'm talking about AH home/away side I mean the first/second option of AH bet :)

If you want to do it your way it's fine with me. When teams should be -10, I'll just take them at +10 when your way makes it +10. This means that I'll be able to take advantage of many plays.

I just played around with a lot of different wagers.  AH definitely = Asian Handicap.

Every bet that I have made has been perfect except for Ole Miss. I'm not sure if you graded it manually or what happened since this is the first problem.

So far it seems that there is problem in "printing" bet slips. During weekend we will fix it along with the Battleship game.

EDIT: Please note that at the left bottom corner of bet slips, there are sharing links. You can copy just the "Share link" address and paste it here.

The betting slip says Ole Miss +4. How can you say that it's -4. This is crazy. If you don't want to pay what the bet slip says, then I'll just withdraw my money.

Quote
Brigham Young - Ole Miss
Ole Miss AH +4.0

I did not say anything about payment. I'm just talking what is wrong. Do not place any bet on away side of AH, EH until it will be fixed. When we deploy fixes of Sportbook and Battleship, then we re-credit the Ole Miss bet. Ok?

New Version Released

Hey guys, we just deployed new version. This is not a major update, no new features, only two issues were resolved:

  • Solitaire & Backgammon: added support for touch devices (@kpitti: thanks for the report).
  • Sportbook: fixed rendering of AH/EH away side handicap value with opposite sign.

Unfortunately, we may not include the Battleship game into this redeploy as we promised. Although we resolved the main problem that pushed us to suspend the game, we found another problem in Provably Fair AI that needs further work. The Battleship will be included in next release.
