Title: Want to get your negative trust removed?
Post by: Vod on December 09, 2014, 02:12:26 PM
Have you been left negative trust because you asked for a loan as a newbie or engaged in scammy behavior?

The good news is I do remove negative trust in some cases.  Not everyone reads the no collateral, no loan rule.   Not everyone understands what they are doing is a scam.
Review the No collateral, no loan rule here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0

Note:  I cannot delete negative trust left by other people.

Steps to take:

1) If English is not your native language, have someone translate this for you.  I make no exceptions for non-English speakers.
2) Do not make any additional posts or PMs asking for loans/donations.  Do not engage in further scammy behavior!    Doing so will void this extra chance!
3) After a cool down period of one calendar month (the same date you got the negative feedback, just one month later) you can PM me asking me to remove the negative trust.  I will review your posts, and if you have been sincere, I will remove the trust.

Example:  If I left you negative trust on December 9th, wait until January 9th until you ask to have the trust removed.

I don't want to be bothered with nonsense questions - this is fairly clear.  If you PM me before the cool down period expires, the counter starts again at one month.

No.  I'm not on this forum to make coin.

Can I get my negative trust removed?

You would need to contact the person that left the trust.  I haven't left you negative trust.

In certain situations, it's appropriate to remove negative trust if the user has shown they understand they made a mistake and they won't do it again.

You left me negative trust without even looking into what I was saying.

I never claimed I was anyone
I never claimed I was asking for payment now, I simply laid out the terms if anyone wanted to use the service
All I did by posting the thread was suggest the service be created
I have a past positive track record, you may look into that by checking my reference activity in coins such as crave and my services related to that.
I have been trusted in the lending thread before
I can provide many more references than the ones listed here.

I feel as though you were not justified in leaving the negative trust rating that you did. I will gather all of my positive references if you so chose for me to do so.

Edit: Aside from the positive references, here is my argument that Vod was not wrong in some of his points:
1) Claiming it was insurance: I am not legally representative of a licenced insurance provider, and therefore accepting payment for the service would be illegal in the sight of the law.
2) I would be committed to any client I served, I always have and always will be. But under the definitions Vod presents, I would not be able to provide in a certified manner.
3) I would prefer to remain anonymous for the pure sake of being in cryptocurrencies. We each have a right to privacy while maintaining trust.
4) Who in their right mind would challenge the forum owners? I would not for the sake of running a simple service or suggesting the running thereof.
5) No, I would not take out fiat insurance for a bitcoin service.
6) I did not make the actual statistical calculations for the rate, rather I based it of off the typical ask for a microloan of less than 0.1 btc. Many of those loans do not default but the ones that do could make use of the service.
7) I did not calculate as far out as the actual floating rates and their respective data sets.
8.) I do have trust and could have run off with many thousands of dollars, but I am not a scammer, and therefore have not left with a single cent. I am a legitimate bitcoin entrepreneur. I am always dedicated to the people I do any business with, and I always will be.

So under your definitions, what I suggested would be illegal under most jurisdictions without proper identification. I agree to that, and I am sorry for the misunderstanding that was created by posting this service. I would appreciate if we could settle this properly and resolve the matter.

I'm glad you understand what you did was wrong.  Such an idea would never work in this community due to the lack of law enforcement and the ease of fraud (Person A could lend to Person B who would default and they would collect insurance together).

I've removed your negative trust.

I would prefer this thread not be used for discussion of any one particular issue - if you'd like the community to vet your ideas, please start a new topic outside this thread.  Thanks!

God damn it, I was having a sip of my coffee when I read that.  >:(
Yeak.

And yeah, there are a lot of red feedback in his profile but none of them matter apparently  :P
