Report any other threads you see selling hacked accounts.

Hacked accounts aren't allowed to be sold here, and like biz said should be reported and they will be removed.

Your threads are getting deleted because you got caught and/or reported.

The others haven't.

Have you reported them? And reports on newbs (ie you) tend to get handled a lot quicker than reports against other higher member ranks and they can stay in the que a while because there's more patrollers (newbie mods) so maybe that's another reason.

If they're getting deleted it's for a reason, you probably know what you did wrong.

Why haven't these threads been deleted?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=895014.0

[..] you must:
- Have some history here, with more history being required for trades of invites/accounts in bulk. Or,
- Have substantial history on reputable invite trading forums such as torrentinvites.org which prohibit selling hacked accounts. Or,
- Be vouched for by someone from one of the above two categories.

I do not believe any of the three requirements above apply to OP.

I saw someone had marked your recent reports as bad for those and was wondering why. There seems to be some confusion over the issue, but maybe it's because you don't know for sure the accounts are hacked (as likely as they may be).

Wasn't me, I only tend to target necro posters and spammers but I will say that newbies who post up stuff like that without having had proper conversations with people first tend to get flagged easiest because of how a lot of newbies just come in here to make one or two posts and then never come back.

Then what is the point of having the rule?

Apparently it isn't against any rules:

I haven't seen any offer you are describing here on bitcointalk. Can you post link to some examples?

There are good reasons to think that torac is selling hacked accounts.

Selling hacked accounts is not banned by any current forum policy. Selling the accounts is not illegal as far as I know (maybe the act of hacking the accounts is illegal). I'm always reluctant to go against the forum's policy of free speech, and in this case I'm not even sure that the trades are immoral. On one hand:

- The victims probably never notice.
- If the victims do notice, they can probably get their accounts back without too much hassle.
- There is no violence or deception involved.
- torac is only selling information. Some part of me thinks that selling information can never be wrong.

On the other hand, there are victims...

Also, I can never know with absolute certainty whether someone is selling hacked accounts or just reselling accounts that have been given to them willingly. (Reselling willingly-given accounts is OK. The forum clearly has no obligation to enforce the terms of service for other sites. Otherwise common trades such as Steam trades or PayPal transfers would be disallowed.) This makes a ban on trading hacked accounts potentially messy to enforce. Should I ban trades that are only probably trades of hacked accounts?

torac is donating a portion of proceeds from each sale back to the site, which creates a conflict of interest in acting against torac

The forum is non-profit. I don't get anything whether he donates or not.

What boggles my mind is you would think after the cosbycoin hack of bitcointalk.org in 2011 that Theymos would not be receptive to this type of activity taking place on his own forum.  I don't think Theymos would want someone selling his login credentials on another forum.

I wouldn't like it, but I'm not sure that selling the credentials would be immoral.

It might have been deleted because the OP does not have enough "history" here. As per below you need to have (trading?) history or have (trading?) history on a reputable trading forum.
Selling invites is allowed, but there are some restrictions in order to prevent people from selling accounts and invites obtained through hacking. In order to sell invites or accounts to invite-only sites, you must:
- Have some history here, with more history being required for trades of invites/accounts in bulk. Or,
- Have substantial history on reputable invite trading forums such as torrentinvites.org which prohibit selling hacked accounts. Or,
- Be vouched for by someone from one of the above two categories.
This is somewhat of an argument to have an official list of broad rules that people can reference to find the most up to date forum rules, as old "rule" posts may or may not be updated/changed when a new rules is put into effect.
