Nice app. A small suggestion. Try to add hyperlink to the transactions both in the visual and the right column.

Nice one! My remarks:

  • I'd like the balls to be more bouncy. After the floor is covered it looks like they're made of stone and don't bounce at all.
  • The bigger balls have an undesirable border around them. Not making contact results in an unrealistic look.
  • I liked the fact that their size subtly diminishes over time. Pretty hard to notice unless you pay close attention!

Awesomeness it self !
Just if you could make it show the whole "BTC" icon no matter the size of the transaction is . it's better

Its really nice, but 2 things:

-Bigger balls have some sort of transparent border, making their hitbox not equals to its image.
-All the balls appear from the center, would be a nice touch if them fall from a random position.

Nice work mate! It looks like a good starting position.

^^ It would be nice for sure :)

Now I'm waiting around to see how big an $80M transacation is....  ;D

The "ball" would have no noticeable curvature I assume?

haha. i had to limit the size of the balls on the gravity chart. but the bubble chart will support an 80 mil dollar transaction cuz there are no borders..

This is really nice,
Will you be making the code open source?  I'd really like to make a zetacoin version of this.

Congrats for the site!
I think that there's another one very similar, but I like that kind of animations  :D

IMAO (and as a suggestion), you can reduce the falling speed of the "coins"… maybe some milliseconds. It's just a minor detail but could be nice to know if people can clearly view the coins that are falling  ;)

SURPRISE: lol, I've been looking for 2 minutes the whole site and…

140 BTC transaction  ;D ;D

As an idea, you can make a game take advantage of the site type… maybe people can "touch" and move the coins… i don't know haha you're the ones that developed it  :P

thanks, for the feedback guys..
i presented the app on friday and got some ooh's and aah's when some big transactions came through
and again when i showed them that somebody had donated 5$. I think it opened some peoples eyes.  :o
also today a guy from the presentation received his first bitcoin today. we traded for rent money. haha he's excited about it.

reminds me of bitcoinmonitor (if I rmember correctly the site's name). That one was also showing trades on major exchanges (or may be there was only one at the time), pulled from their API.
