Peatio is an open source cyptocurrency exchange project. Its mission is to build the best open-source cryptocurrency exchange with a high performance trading engine and safety which can be trusted and enjoyed by users. Additionally Peatio team wants to promote the cryptocurrency exchange technology development by providing support and add new features. In addition, Peatio can also be applied to traditional transaction exchange, decreasing cost greatly.

Peatio team has been busy with developing this project since June 2013, and at first only programmers knew Peatio project on Github. It’s easier said than done, but Peatio almost said nothing and did almost everything. Now Peatio is available , so Peatio team has more time and confidence to promote this project , hoping more and more Bitcoin enthusiasts can build their own exchanges for local Bitcoin community with open source exchange project.

Undoubtedly , free and open source is biggest advantage of Peatio. All source code are fully released under the terms of the MIT License. Based on the principle of “open source and transparency”, Peatio releases its source code to everyone. Feel free to modify and use Peatio’s code in your preference. The goal

the goal of Peatio is to become the MetaQuotes in bitcoin exchange development field , offering the best product and service for all bitcoin fans who want to build their own bitcoin exchange in the world.

Shaoping, if you want serious adoption of your software you need extensive english user/developer documentation, i18n (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internationalization_and_localization) support, working english demo server, etc. You seem to have some number of programmers working on the code, but you have to dedicate some resources on tasks mentioned above. I like what you've done, I'm not a Ruby guy so can't help with the code, just encouraging you to keep up the good work.

I install it my server but I have some issues after that I deleted it. If you make detailed pre-install and after-install documentation it would be really great.
For example, in the currency code page what code should I use for dollar or another currency. There is no documentation for this or I didn't see it

There is an english demo server here (https://demo.peatio.com/) there are about 6 languages supported already see the github (https://github.com/peatio/peatio/tree/master/config/locales) please read through the readme Peatio is the most advanced exchange project in Bitcoin and has been for the past 10 months. Peatio is backed by a dedicated team who have been using it with yunbi.com for a while now and have some pretty big volume compared to other international exchanges. @bitdraw we conducted a security audit of peatio. The report will be public in a week. In general: it's much more secure than the rest of exchangers and code quality is higher.

Aber der größte Unterschied zwischen MetaQuotes und peatio ist, daß Peatio ein Open Source Projekt ist, ganz wie Bitcoin selber.

In diesem Fall ist Peato eigendlich ähnlich wie Red Hat, dem weltweit führenden Provider für Open Source Lösungen, der einen benutzerorientierten Ansatz verfolgt, um vertrauenswürdige und high performance Produkte und Dienste anzubieten.
