Title: [ASKING] 0.05 -- 3 weeks | 10% Interest Negotiable
Post by: Small on December 27, 2014, 09:35:57 AM
Hey guys, I never thought I'd go here, but apparently I really need to.
I need 0.05 so I can fund my faucet and invest back at ZenMiners

I'll be making my hashlets mine for a while and if ever my christmas money can't cut 0.055BTC
I'll sell the hashlets and give you the BTC, and I also have a few advertisements earning me money per day, so
I guess I have multiple contingency plans if all else fails.

I can give this account + SmallBits.ML as collateral

EDIT:
I also have a siggy ad which pays per week so yeah

This is really not a smart move. You can't start up a project like SmallBits with 0 budget at all. Advertising is hard to sell which I assume will be your revenue source. How do you intend on paying this back?

You're account is worth maybe 0.01 BTC maximum.

I had SOME budget, but I never really expected people to drain off the faucet that fast, and I thought that the big traffic with the ads would
pay off, but when the massive traffic came, I had to buy a better webhosting plan and fund the faucet several times, luckily in a few days
I'll be off paid hosting again as someone agreed to sponsor the site with a hosting plan that they'll pay for..

I will pay back by eventually selling the hashlets and using some of the profit from the mining, if there's enough money from a-ads
I'll be using it to pay too

backup plan would be spending my christmas money to buy some bitcoins to pay the lender off,

Fair enough, I just don't think you can expect people to shoulder a 0.05 Btc loan for 3 weeks at 10%. I'm guessing you're a kid with no other income than xmas money from what you wrote, I'm just pointing out the obvious thoughts that will be in the mind of any loaner.

I think I'm a capable kid to pay this loan off.
I understand but hopefully someone will give the loan, I'm confident I can pay it off

Find an escrow for both things listed as collateral.

I'll do 2 weeks at 10% as it seems you're an ambitious kid looking to get things done and I'd like to help.

I've requested RedSn0w to be the escrow

Try again.  Redsn0w is usually pretty consistent.

I wouldn't need the loan anymore if I get to sell SmallBits,
I'd like to engage in a new project, but if I get the loan I guess I can
maintain smallbits for a while longer

See, I think this will scare most people into not giving you a loan.

You're offering your website as collateral, but you want to sell your website.

Chances are you'll default on the loan.   :-\

Do you have anything else you can use as collateral so people can be assured you'll pay the loan back?

Oh now that you put it that way hm...
I can offer my account which is already enrolled in a signature campaign (if that counts)

Your account isn't worth anything.  Can't be easily resold to recover the loss if you don't repay.

Alright then, I'll lock the thread for now and if I can't sell it then I'll just decide
to maintain SmallBits then, I'm sorry if I can't really do anything with collateral other than the site,
since I'm looking to get the loan in to maintain the site in the first place, since if I continue to use my
super small funds left to fund SmallBits I'll end up dry and I won't be able to engage in any more new projects...

Sorry, I'll wait for a reply from Vod before I lock the thread.

Oh and yeah, I'd like to prove people can trust me, though I'm at this age..

Sounds like a plan.  Remove the faucet from your site, and attract traffic via other means.  Good luck!   :)
