Was drunk one night and unfortunately opened the coin and spent it awhile back. I planned on using the coin as a personal offline wallet so the sticker is still in intact and the key is still taped down and sticky - I don't have the private key written down anywhere and don't plan to so if you want to use it you can but I understand many won't believe me and won't use it sadly (as the whole point of the coin is the wallet). The coin is in a protective case and will be shipped out in that. Someone told me my coin is one of the only coins actually spent from this set which is sad but also giving the coin some rarity in the eyes of some collectors. Many made offers so thus I am auctioning the coin.

Anyways the auction will end Sunday, January 4th at 11:59 GMT (which is 6:59pm EST, and includes the full minute such as 11:59:15). Starting bid is 0.01, no reserve. Shipping is free for US, worldwide will be whatever the actual cost of shipping is.

I accept the use of any trusted forum escrow for this purchase. If you have any questions or want more photos or information let me know.

First time doing this auction thing (here or anywhere), forgot to mention one rule that many people request (one person messaged me about it): Sniping

If a bid is placed in the final minutes, the auction will be extended 5 minutes from the time of the last bid.

So if a bid comes in at 11:58:00 then the auction ends at 00:03:00. Sorry to all for not posting in the OP, figure with a week left and the bids not being as high as a couple offers I have received that this isn't a problem.

If a bid is placed at 11:54:00 then the auction ends at the original time.

Escrow through LouReed is fine. Someone asked me why I didn't specify an escrow beforehand which my answer was that I wanted bidders to feel safe here and allow them to choose their escrow. As long as the user is trustworthy, proven and been a member for a significant time here, I'm okay with using them for escrow.

i think you made the auction too long

Wanted it to be a week and end on a sunday. I'll send out PMs to everyone that has shown interest in Casascius or this coin next Saturday evening / Sunday morning to try and gather up interest again. The most people are online sunday nights which is why I scheduled it to end then.

I'm really upset about this, apparently Moderator "Grue" found my posts to be insubstantial and banned me for a period of 30 days from the forum. I was threatened if I used another account the ban would be worse and I don't want to do the trade unless an escrow is used so thus I have to close this auction for now. I messaged Grue asking him to reconsider, I'm not a spammer account, I get paid for only 50 posts a week but I post a lot more than that. Most of my posts are trying to help people or combat the scammers and spammers of the forum.

I am really disappointed by this outcome and I am banned from my account for 30 days. If this is the punishment for a first time offender I think its pretty harsh. From what I've seen most get a ban of a week or less. Anyways, really sad about all of this. Dunno if I'll be back in a month or not cause this really dampered my day, I really enjoy this forum.

Can I seriously just have this auction end without issues? First bad bear bans me for no reason and now I have a fake scam accusation against me. Great, next time I'll just put this stuff on shitbay cause I swear I wanted to try and help the community but everyone loves to try and ruin things.
