I have tested these in desktop boards, and they work great. They are Ivy Bridge based, so overclocking on them is likely easily acheived. Xeon's have hard-locked multipliers, aside from power saving features. You may or may not be able to increase BCLK, but most boards don't support changing the BCLK, or if they are, you can't increase it by much without instability. |
