Title: [WTS] Intel LGA 2011 Xeons
Post by: auctioneeeeer on June 29, 2012, 09:10:52 PM
I have some intel LGA 2011 ES (Engineering Sample) (stepping C0) Xeons:

1 x Intel Xeon E5-2658 8 Core 20MB L3 Cache-

BTC65 or best offer.

4 x Intel Xeon E5-2630 6 Core 15MB L3 Cache-

BTC59 or best offer.

I have tested these in desktop boards, and they work great.  They are Ivy Bridge based, so overclocking on them is likely easily acheived.

Thanks-

I would advise people to use Escrow for any purchase.  Do NOT do some bullshit like "pay half on proof of shipment".  Pure escrow,  or you're asking to get burned.

Or through Ebay, I have 100% feedback rating there, am ID verified, and my account is 14 years old.  Here is my profile:

On a side note, eBay feedbacks does not usually work well here as ebay feedbacks can be cheaply obtained. There have been previous examples when people got burned from people having ebay feedbacks.

I can appreciate that.  I am an honest person, and am in the middle of my first transaction here with another board member.  Once that is complete, I am positive he'll vouch for me.

I hope to build a solid reputation here as many others have.

That's a good thing to hear.  ;D Probably make a http://bitcoin-otc.com/ account too for your feedbacks.

I was JUST about to say this. Xeon's have hard-locked multipliers, aside from power saving features. You may or may not be able to increase BCLK, but most boards don't support changing the BCLK, or if they are, you can't increase it by much without instability.
