Title: Beautiful Post by: Ragnar17 on July 02, 2012, 07:04:05 PM Governments over human history have caused more crime than criminals, caused destruction economically and politically through wars and inflation and have only taken away our freedom. I almost was about to give up in finding a place in this world where I could find the freedom until I found bitcoin. A capitalists dream morally and economically.

It really empowers the common man to transfer wealth anywhere in the world instantly with no oversight. On the other hand, this can lead to a lot of dubious activity. I have been skeptical about certain parts of the BitCoin lending/stock trading. Overall, I think that a lot of good can come from the growth of this currency and the strong community behind it.

I just think people have been "trained" to just accept what the teachers/majority/leaders (religious or political) think. People are much more likely to accept a common belief because that is the safe bet. In doing this, people never learn how to find anything out for themselves and can only exist intellectually in a group setting where they can accept others beliefs and never have to make any of their own.
