Title: [ANN] cookiecoin, a new decentralized tasty-currency.
Post by: schnell on July 09, 2012, 06:27:41 PM
Announcing cookiecoin, the new decentralized tasty-currency!
Sick of dedicating your computer to mining? Cannot afford the hefty prior investment for mining?
Bake!
With cookiecoin, the quality of cookie needed(also known as the difficulty to all you crypto-anarchists) adapts to the number of bakers baking. If your cookie is of the quality needed, you have to send a cookie to every bakery owner, including baked in transactions.
A client will be provided soon, but until then; send me cookies!
If you are an early-baker, then you will earn lots of cookiecoins cheap while the currency is new.
Currently the difficulty is 2. Essentially, that means that a brick is an acceptable cookie. That's how low the difficulty is.
And unlike other crypto-shit, our difficulty only goes up to 4, meaning you are not confused by numbers.
Here is a helpful guide as to the acceptable cookies at different difficulties.
0 = Anything created by Matthew N. Wright
1 = The ash of Coineer, sprinkled with shredded up print outs of Atlas's failed trolls.
2 = A brick.
3 = An orange.
4 = An actual cookie.

Trolls? What are you talking about?
This is a serious venture. If you have no ideas/cookies to contribute, then I kindly suggest you leave.

Are there ways to earn this coin without mining, maybe by writing?

Edit: I think I just got tricked.
