Title: Questions re Reports and User Stats
Post by: tmfp on January 16, 2015, 11:11:53 AM
If I report a post for breaking the 'rules', where and how do I receive notification whether it has been accepted or rejected?
Also, in my user stats under 'Most Popular Boards By Activity', top of my list is the Turkish board which I've never knowingly visited.
Why is that?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, also, I have tried to search for answers unsuccessfully.

Thanks.

There is no notification. If you haven't reported much, then your percentage will be changing all the time , so you will know roughly when you made a incorrect report. However, the more you report the harder this becomes.

You won't know when your report gets handled, but they are normally handled quite quick. I think the longest I've seen is 2-3 hours when everyone was hibernating.

If you've reported a post which needs to be deleted then you can check here:  modlog  (https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php)

Did you move your thread to Turkish board accidentally? I'm checking your posts now.
Found it. Somebody move this thread to Turkish board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=824055
I'm moving it to Archival. Check your stats page again.

Thanks, follow up dumb question: where do I find my % ?

Click on Report to moderator, you'll see the number of reports and accuracy % there.

Popular boards by activity is misleading, it's not based on your posts, but your posts relative to the number total in that board.
It's
Code:
(number of posts you posted in this forum) / (number of total posts posted in this forum, from everybody)

Right. That particular measurement is your posts/total posts. It's meant to show your activity in that board compared to overall activity there. Brazil shows up in my top ten because I moved a bunch of topics a couple times, because overall there are few topics/posts there.

Pretty useless if you ask me.

Yay, 100%, do I get a prize? (Apart from that warm fuzzy feeling)  :D

Yeah, it isn't very relevant by the look of it.

Thanks for the help.
