You wouldn't have to send it to anyone, just prove that you had it, either by sending a particular token amount of BTC from that address (i.e. 0.0004857), or by signing a message with the private key associated with it. Then, if your post count is 10, and you only have 10 BTC at that address, you can't make another post until you put more BTC into that address.
I wonder if the quality of posts would rise if such a system were implemented?
