Ah okay, makes sense.  Well, you could buy virtually anything.  All you need is a gift card to a major retailer or have a major retailer accept bitcoin.

Cryptothrift.com has some interesting things, although the pirated software is hilarious, given you can get the same from numerous sites similar to pirate bay (potential trojan included), which is where the seller got his from.

I like the idea of sites like the above, with growth and multiple users, it is great for the consumer.

I only use my Bitcoins to purchase digital gift cards or fiat currencies. I tend not to buy products directly via BTC in case problems arise. It's much more easier to control where funds are transferred with gift cards and companies rather than use BTC to use on physical goods. I often sell gift cards as well at a discounted rate to purchase Bitcoin rather than go through a complicated exchange.

Are you looking for an actual case for your phone, or a replacement back piece with Bitcoin on it?  That company here locally does screen and back replacements for cracked screens and all.  So he was going to hook us up with some replacement backs for us to do some designs on so that he can start selling.  But they do sell cases as well.  My business partner and I were discussing ordering in some cases for the top selling phones that were smooth, flat surfaced, plastic cases to engrave on.

But you tell me what your preferring, (replacement back or case) and is there one of the Bitcoin designs we have on there that you currently like?  What color?  White is the only thing that wouldn't show up well, IMO.  But let me know, I'll work out an example, pricing and see if we can't start offering it!  Thanks for the feedback, love the idea!

Bitcoin adoption where is so low?  If you have a merchant that accepts paypal, then you can pay using bitcoin.  I found it interesting that my stripe account for our merchant services at my business allows for the Bitcoin option.  If you go to http://pixskull.com (http://pixskull.com), add something to the cart, click on stripe (credit card) at check out.  It pops up asking if you want to pay in bitcoin or credit card.

Only problem is, I think they automatically transfer it to Fiat.  Anyone else know if I'm right with that?  That's the reason that I kept payment with bitcoin using coinbase on there as well, because our business doesn't like to automatically change out Bitcoin to Fiat.

I feel that's the problem with SOOOO many merchants accepting it and the price being where it's at.  If businesses followed the modellike http://overstock.com (http://overstock.com) and ourselves, then Bitcoin wouldn't just be dumped back out onto the market.  We personally buy products using bitcoin and don't have a direct transfer to Fiat in any percentage.  The only time we do change it out to Fiat is if it's a bulk order and WE HAVE TO have money for the product.  Otherwise we try to keep it a full circle.

Tried selling two old NES games here on the marketplace section, Deadly Towers and Solstice.  I wasn't asking much for both of them, and Deadly Towers was still sealed.  No takers, no offers, nothing.  So I sold DT on Ebay and got a decent price for it, and I still have the other one.  I got cash, which is far more useful for my day to day transactions than BTC.  How do you like them apples, bitches?

Sounds like a lot of hate in that message....but i'm sure no one is disagreeing with your statement of what is useful or isn't useful.  But essentially you didn't get "cash" you got sent money digitally from someone's bank account or credit card which is the same number, that doesn't change, and with all the security hacks on the news with credit cards and even tax accounts, I believe the real question is, when someone jacks your credit card or bank info tied to the account that you received that cash on....how do you like them apples?!

It's made to be a more secure alternative, and for all you know if someone paid for it in paypal and you have a merchant account on paypal, they could have paid you with bitcoins without you ever knowing.....

Yes, cash is risky, always has been.  But you cannot deny that there are more protections against fraud with fiat than there are for BTC.  Or at least I'd like to hear the counterargument. My point was that it was so much easier to sell my game on Ebay for cash (I think I said in my listing that I'd take BTC as well) than it was to sell it here.  Maybe if there was a crypto-auction site or something...is there?

I've never actually sold anything for bitcoins. I just hadn't considered it, really... the OTC/barter scene always seemed so limited and not worth the effort. But now that the downtrend is slowing down (I think we will bottom/reverse into up trend in the next 6 months) I want to start accumulating again. :)

Are there auction websites -- have they gained any ground? I forget that Ebay-esque one from 2013. These days I just sell trading profits for things like Amazon gift cards (Gyft), food on Foodler, things like that.

I use btc to buy digital goods and services.  If I need to pick it up, then fiat cash can be paid and that is what most people prefer.  When it is a digital good or service bitcoin is a natural choice.

We are working on doing a completely revamp of the website so that it's not just showing our glasses, and will show Zippos, Multi-Function Leatherman Style Tools, I want to see if I can start doing Billiard Cue Balls with monograms or what not on it, as well as pool cues, Wooden gun cleaning kits with engraved boxes, etc.

It can handle metal, glass, leather, plastic, acrylic, wood, ceramic, etc etc.  Or what do you guys want to get for yourself or father and I'll gladly see about adding it and working out pricing.

Some weeks ago I sell all of my bitcoin into my currency. I used it for buy my school fees and some material books. I really proud if i can defray my school with my own money.

You can buy a lot with bitcoins, I buy a lot of clothes with my bitcoins.
The only downside is that you need to find a store that accept bitcoins.

Well these days you can buy a lot with the bitcoin itself, but I'm mostly buying clothes from online shops that accept the bitcoin, there coming more everyday.

currently i dont sell anything for bitcoin,because in my town not much people accept and know about bitcoin.

Its easy I make profit with it when I do it, it of course depends on the customer but if I make as a example a website a only need a couple things like hosting and other things like some licenses for certain things(depending on what I need to make).
So if you just do all that stuff its of course takes a week or so to make it really smooth and fine for the customer you will have your profit minus the hosting and all but there you also charging for( plus you will pay hourly with nice amounts of cash)

If you check some luxury sites you will see that there are some of them that are accepting bitcoin as payment, though I wouldn't advise you to buy anything, you will be doing so at your own risk if you decide that you want to buy anything there. I have once sold some clothes to my friend and asked him to make payment with bitcoin and that is because he makes use of bitcoin and knows what it is.

I guess lightning network will change everything in coming days as it would provide quicker BTC transactions which will enable lots of merchants to adopt bitcoin payments as there will be no need of waiting up to 10 minutes also zero fees for transactions will attract lots of people which will include both merchants and end users.

If you can get a debit card with a visa/mc logo it should work just like a debit card. You will need to get verified and connect your bank acct. to your platform.
