Russian hacker battles with Apple to keep in-app purchase exploit alive

A mention for bitcoin after PayPal blocked him from accepting payments.

Quote
The Cupertino-based company also blocked the IP address of the server used by Borodin, convinced the Russian Web host to shut down the service and even worked with PayPal to prevent him from receiving donations.

The hacker has now responded by moving to a new server that is seemingly out of Apple’s reach, and he is now accepting donations through the anonymous service Bitcoin.

[Update: I see this has been covered elsewhere as well:

Apple fails to block stolen iOS in-app content

"PayPal suspended his account for violations of its acceptable use policy, meaning he won't be able to access those funds for 180 days. Borodin is now accepting funds via the BitCoin digital currency."]
