Was it that hard? http://www.businessinsider.com/russians-buy-dollars-but-hard-2014-12 A bank in Russia's Khanty-Mansiysk region — an area in Russia that produces approximately 51% of Russian oil — has completely run out of dollars and is almost out of euros, Interfax reports. The bank still has rubles. "Basically, what this means is that people who work in the oil industry [in Khanty-Mansiysk] just got all of their money out of the bank in dollars," a person familiar with the matter told Business Insider. And use google translate on this one: http://govoritmoskva.ru/news/22291/ So you can't blame it on western propaganda Title: Re: Ruble Post by: thejaytiesto on February 01, 2015, 03:13:26 AM It's really tempting, same for oil, low prices are always tempting.
Title: Re: Ruble Post by: grendel25 on February 01, 2015, 03:18:36 AM It's really tempting, same for oil, low prices are always tempting. I wish I had the cash to buy 1 million barreld of oil right now. For every dollar it goes up you get 1 million... how awesome would that be? And you know the rich are buying it up right now. It always happens like this and then you read about companies like southwest airlines being so savvy. rich jerks Title: Re: Ruble Post by: Lethn on February 01, 2015, 04:35:31 AM Avoid trading paper currency like the plague, it's all going to get extremely bad this year for paper currency as well as the various stock indexes, I actually dump all paper money I get into Bitcoin immediately unless I need to trade with people who don't accept Bitcoin.
Title: Re: Ruble Post by: Q7 on February 01, 2015, 06:40:45 AM I would prefer stocks related to oil. I don't think with current oil price, it will drop any further but for currency, it pretty much different. Plus, it would take longer time for currency to recover.

Unless you luck out aka early investor in bitcoin or whatever its really hard getting out the shitty non rich lifestyle. We try tho. Title: Re: Ruble Post by: botany on February 03, 2015, 12:24:55 AM Should I invest? Is it going down or up? I heard they cut rates suddenly, very unstable ??? Why on earth would you want to buy roubles? You should rather invest in oil. Oil is the only factor which can drive rouble up. Lot of other factors which can pull it down. Title: Re: Ruble Post by: mrkavasaki on February 03, 2015, 05:53:46 AM lol you want to invest in fiat?
Title: Re: Ruble Post by: zimmah on February 03, 2015, 07:25:48 AM At the moment, if you want to invest in fiat, best to invest in dollars.
It's entering a massive bubble that may last a few months. However, all fiat money is a ponzi, don't invest in fiat because they will crash down at some point. Title: Re: Ruble Post by: AnyYes on February 03, 2015, 09:27:14 AM Oil go down Ruble go down - if you want invest in Ruble than you expect Oil go up?
