You need Nvidia's driver, but it's pointless since with 8400 GS you can only get 2.3 MH/s. Even if you have 150 computers that use NVIDIA 8400 GS under your control, you can beat it with just one Radeon HD 5850 (350 MH/s). What about Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series in my laptop? Mining on Laptop isn't really recommended, since the speed isn't worth it (you get 50% discount speed compared to desktop version). What about Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series in my laptop? Last time I mined on my laptop it instantly shut down because of overheat. I can't find 51xx series in the wiki. 4570 Mobile : 9.6 MH/s 5870 Mobile : 189.2 MH/s 5870 Desktop : 313 MH/s https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison Title: Re: Need help installing CGMiner on Ubuntu 12.04 Post by: jl2035 on July 21, 2012, 03:16:37 PM i will really have to invest something, here... ::)
