Brad First of all, you need some pretty sweet hardware, CPU, RAM and Bandwidth wise (not exactly hardware but still), if I was going to start one I would probably have an i7, 8 gigs of ram, and a fast internet. Then download pushpool and set it up with a backend bitcoind, then portforward (if need be) and start advertisiing :) If this helps please donate ;) Title: Re: Looking to start a pool, where should I start? We've got a decent budget for the development and hosting for this project, we plan on spending money on marketing and advertising as well. We're hoping to find a technical lead who will be able to manage the technical issues as a partner in the project, but if that person needs money instead we could work a deal like that out. |
