It would be better, if we can get past the "merchant adoption" phase quicker... but it's needed for BTC to stimulate demand. I think he's great for bitcoin, but I don't think he has insider knowledge but is just offering his opinion. I think two years is a nice amount of time to hold your btc and see where bitcoin is then. I think it should have made some ground within two years so people just need some patience.
