Jeez those people are stupid :/  What on earth has CH done to deserve money from these people, aside from over promising and under delivering.

I especially like the guy "willing" to sell 25,000 solidcoins.   Yeah awesome, good luck selling those (who's going to want to buy them)?   He may as well offer 25,000 pebbles.

I could put 25,000 pebbles in my yard and have a rock garden. Try another analogy ;)

The ironic part would be if he gets bitcoin donations.

I think it's ironic enough that Mr. "Solildcoin ready for Bitcoin's collapse" is asking for donations in BTC.....priceless

I bet you dollars to donuts that Daniel Parnell (aka RealSolid) is on social assistance while he works "full time capacity" on the microcash code.  He doesn't work - his wife doesn't work - how are they supporting their family?

Is there anyone in Australia that would want to make a little phone call and let them know that Daniel is committing fraud by running his own business while being on welfare?

You have an interesting point there.

Yeah, let's all run to the authorities because we don't like somebody or his project.

Also, working on an open-source project != running a business.

Depending on the income it IS a business...

Eve if he is running a business while on the dole they will consider it a hobby untill the time you make enough profit to earn a full time wage from it.

Hobby != Business

It's plain as day since BTC-E closed SC trading he has to beg now.

Looks to me like there is still some trading going on at https://btc-e.com/exchange/sc_btc

If you check the trade history,
25.07.12 01:10 Buy   0.003 BTC   4998.92 SC   14.99676 BTC
25.07.12 01:10 Buy   0.003 BTC   1.07911 SC   0.00323733 BTC
24.07.12 21:57 Buy   0.003 BTC   14998.9 SC   44.9967 BTC
24.07.12 21:57 Buy   0.0029 BTC   404.2 SC   1.17218 BTC
24.07.12 21:57 Buy   0.00289 BTC   194.6 SC   0.562394 BTC
24.07.12 21:57 Buy   0.002889 BTC   6331.42 SC   18.29147238 BTC

You can see someone bought ~25k SC @ .003 for about 75btc all before 1:10am. Supertramp posted asking for 250btc for 25k at 2:16 am

Posted Today, 02:16 AM
I am willing to sell 25K SC for 250BTC to pay RealSolid to finish the work on the MicroCash beta and release it to the public. If need be I am willing to break up the 25K SC
into smaller orders as long as the total BTC is 250BTC.

Are these times right? Good luck person wanting 250btc!

How about we run to the authorities because someone is taking money away from people that really need it?

Also, if you are programming full time on something you expect to become rich from, it IS your own business and you can't be on welfare while doing it.

Hey retard,

Ever heard of running a business that gives you passive income? Not everyone is employed from 9 to 5. Unfortunately those who are (like you) are delusional to the point where they think its the only way to make money.

I think Realsolid realized if anyone called, he would lose his gravy train.  Programming a scam while being supported by hard working taxpayers.

Hmm, get a job maybe?    Nah, why bother when you can just ask for donations from people stupid enough to believe you.   What a piece of work.

Since ALL of the trade in ShortBusCoin is the artificial transactions created by RS/CH/Douchebag to prop up his hilarious "look at the skyrocketing value of ShortBusCoin" claims earlier this year... they would be hard pressed to find somebody to buy 25 ShortBusCoins who was not a part of their special little circle jerk club, let alone 25,000. Which, if sold for the current book value (assuming one could actually find an exchange trading in this little pieces of worthless crap) would generate a whole $600 to keep the boy genius programmer (who is paid hundreds of dollars per hour for his work- remember!) his wife and family alive until the code is complete late this year.

Now, I hate to wield the broadsword of reality here... but... this development team (consisting of one sad pinhead in soiled underwear working on a 386 with 4 megs of RAM and a pirated copy of Windows 3.1 in his mom's basement) has yet to deliver ANYTHING within 2 months of a promised delivery date. So, let's assume those six Benjamins, once converted to Australian Dame Nellies, Sir Johnnies, Douglasses or Johns (or whatever the current slang is for Australian Benjamins...) will have to keep the entire Kibbutz Parnell alive for at least another six months. So, given a burn rate of one Whoa Nellie (there- I've decided!) per month for an average Australian family, the Parnells are going to be really, really short of lunch money by about the second day, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Latestproducts/6530.0Main%20Features22009-10?opendocument&tabname=Summary&prodno=6530.0&issue=2009-10&num=&view=  (http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Latestproducts/6530.0Main%20Features22009-10?opendocument&tabname=Summary&prodno=6530.0&issue=2009-10&num=&view=) Household Expenditure Survey. They think that family will need $53.5188 Whoa Nellies for basic expenses associated with food (8.8332 Whoa Nellies), shelter (9.6559 Whoa Nellies) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco products at a staggering 3.7225 Whoa Nellies in the aggregate.

What RS/CH/Douchebag really needs to ask for is a generous benefactor to cough up 1,337,970 ShortBusCoins at current exchange rates to keep his brood kicking and squealing until the New Year. Which is more than the cost of your very own Trusty Rusty Ultra Kewl And Really Quite Special Security Trusted Node, which would empower you to fork his cheesy little bad joke of a coin, and invalidate all of his taxation schemes. Hmmm, wonder if that gets anybody's creative juices flowing?

And please note... he is claiming that he is working at his own business which is NOT open source, he has copyrighted all of the intellectual property, including the open source work that he stole wholesale, so the hobby/side interest not for gain argument doesn't work.

Since everyone in Australia is descended of criminals, where do they ship their real criminals off to?

Not all of us are descended criminals. The first ancestor in my family to arrive here was a prizefighter who in his first fight broke his opponents jaw. He had to use the prizemoney to pay for the hospital bill.  :D

If you are going to be unemployed anywhere in the world Australia is probably the best place to do so. Centrelink doesnt care what you do in your spare time as long as you follow their reporting requirements.

I stand corrected on the "descended from criminals" issue, no ethnic slur was intended towards those of non-criminal ancestry.

And I am willing to stipulate that there are some very attractive surfer girls from Australia (a weakness of mine!).

But the horror of learning that the bar for their welfare system is low enough to include RS/CH/Douchebag sitting in his mum's basement wanking and pretending he can code whilst stealing other people's work? That's just too much! You need to get your house in order and clean that shit up! Wankers like RS/CH/Douchebag should be contributing to society, not suckling at the teat of public largesse. He's a freaking genius programmer worth hundreds of dollars per second for his brilliant coding skillz, somebody hook that sad little fuck up with a job, so he can contribute to society instead of leeching for a change. Or hand him a rake and let him groom the beaches for those surfer girls to look good on. Or enroll him in sheep station manure removal courses or something, but let his true worth shine through the dependent and despondent haze that is his miserable existence begging coppers from his slavish devotees, mum and society at large. Worst case he could be a speed bump or something.
