Title: Is OKCoin scam?
Post by: callBit on February 12, 2015, 06:38:38 AM
I am having so much trouble taking out my coins from okcoin China. When I tried to withdraw, they wanted to verify my ID. That is OK... I can wait a little. I uploaded all the documents they requested for verificaiton...my passport, driver's license, bills showing my address...But they keep rejecting approval and asking something else..They are holding about 100btc and won't let me withdraw.
My last attempt failed verification again...and they don't even answering question what to do next.. :-[
Anyone had experience in this situation? It is getting scary now..

Most of the images you posted are broken , please fix them and use something popular like imgur to post your images with the an extension .png or .jpg at the end .
Secondly , OKCoin is not a scam as far as I know and it's really known . Beside if they are rejecting and asking you for "something else" , what is that thing that they are asking , can't you simply provide it for them ?

You seem to have a bit more than 36 BTC with them. Did you send them more coin or purchased after this QA? If so, why you did so if you think scary?

I've had several issues with them but not that critical. Generally I'm happy with their service, unless they suddenly shut down of course.

They are holding about 100btc and won't let me withdraw.

If all else fails just transfer the OKCNY internally to an exchanger instead of withdrawing directly. In the future you could withdraw BTCC voucher and just trade with somebody in Korea for KRW cash. I assume you are trading on BTCChina
