Hey Guys

So I have decided to start publically posting my football (soccer) picks. I have had some success and some failure in the past. But my experience has taught me a lot about sports betting. I have recently revised my strategy and it seems to be working quite well. So hopefully I can make some BTC for myself and also for other people. I will try keep this thread regularly updated with my results and my picks. CryptoBettor is holding a competition for sports bettors, so I am using that forum to post the picks, but I will post the link to my picks here so you guys can see.

Well if I bet on the day of the games then most followers wouldn't see my bet in time, so I bet a few days before to ensure that I give others enough time to follow my bets if they choose to...

Givent that chelsea are playing away, I suspect they will attempt to get a draw out of the game. Mourinho usually does that with strong teams. But I dont know if they will be able to contain PSG, so I have chosen not to bet on that game.

A sloppy Bayern munich performance... Very unfortunate result and the red card to Alonso didnt help either. But Its only the beginning, I will just have to make those 2 losses up.

I wish betting on soccer was easy. Have a draw possible, it gives the house a massive edge.

Gonna see a lot of draws in the first leg. The under is always safe too. Teams play very defensively at this stage.

Yeah seems like it. We already had 2 draws today. I think the Under's would be more safer.

Will probably be another draw tomorrow. I think basel/porto is a good choice for under for tomorrow.

i'll go with under 3.5, hope schalke defense works well tonight

my bet for tonight is parlay between, Madrid 2 goals or more and porto and basel combined over 2.5 goals, perhaps bayern is under pressured due to the cold climate there

for a club like madrid, score 2 goals is easy
but i still believe total goals is under 3.5 :D
i don't have any prediction for basel-porto match, since i didn't follow teams
yeah, seems cold climate in eastern europe make bayern's play not work well

I have Schalke to win and Basel to draw for today's Champions League.

this is a pretty bold move, goodluck to you, but i doubt madrid will give up that easy to schalke

Yes - that is correct - it is 100% user vs. user. On sport bets we don't even take a fee. (We only take a 2% fee on your no-sportsbet winnings). So you have always the choice to accept the "covered" odds (from a user before you) or chose the odds you like better and wait for another user to accept them.

Who are you picking for the City-Barca game next week?

Definitely Barcelona. City just don't have the big team mentality that is required to do well in the champions league. But we will see how the odds look when we get there :)

indeed im beting for barca too, barca is currently in a  high morale standart, they score a lot goals from their previous matches and city is having some trouble lately in their premier league

Man city's biggest problem is that they rely too much on Yaya toure. When he left for afcon they didnt play well, but he is back now so their troubles should be over domestically. But they wont beat barca. Not likely

Skybet currently have those three teams to win at an enhanced accumulator promotion of 5/1 which is great. I think those three teams should win comfortably.

Hard week. Chelsea got robbed though unfortunately. The ref ruined that game.  >:(

I didn't bet at weekend, seems it was best choice since some big teams can't win the match :)

Juventus vs borussia dortmund and city vs barcelona are interesting game
Juventus is strong in their home, but sometimes play bad in UCL games. Dortmund is not good at bundesliga, but their UCL campaign is good
so it's very hard to choose :(
for other match i think many of us will bet barcelona :P

Agree completely, they have flattered to deceive for years in the champions league for years, apart from beating a 10 man Bayern, they have hardly had a good result for years.

usually city can't defeat liverpool in their home, but liverpool game is bad recently

I think it would be goals over 2.5 there. More secure again if you take the under 3.5 goals with good odds

I was unavailable this weekend, that is why I put all my bets down on Thursday already. I landed 3 out of 4 this weekend. Not a bad days work.

Im glad I avoided the Liverpool vs city game, There is no way I could have called Liverpool to win that one, but well done to them, winning without even using their natural strikers.

what do u think of Aston Villa vs West Brom?? Hull v Sunderland? and Southampton v CRY?

Very risky. It's not out of question but West Ham haven't been playing exceptional recently and they lost at home to Crystal Palace last week. I think The Man United vs Newcastle game has more chance of being a draw.


I can see all them being close games. Aston & Hull I'd go with draws personally.

agree, double chance for this, although west ham is a good team, but they recently lost and chelsea just won the cup, might be a bit tired so chelsea win or draw could be better

Chelsea have a big enough team to just keep going.. especially now with their winter transfer acquisition.. It is going to be a lot more easier.. going to be a good game anyways. but Chelsea for the win.. for me..

Just remember guys that last season chelsea lost at west ham. I know they are far better this season, but "I know mourinho sometimes uses negative tactics so I predict theywill go 1-0 up and then try defend in second half. And West ham will pull one back near the end of the game. I know its a risk but I have already put my bet down and I am sticking with it.

this is what i thought too, remember chelsea might be just focusing on champions league, losing a match in the league could be an option for mourinho as he strive more for the champions league cup

they have a decent lead in the EPL, so they will focus their efforts on beating PSG instead of worrying about West ham. But it is a london Derby, so it wont be an easy game for the blues.

With man city falling to bits, Chelsea have to concentrate on the champions league, the league will probably be gifted to them unless they start playing dreadfully or liverpool win every game left..

i think Arsenal got the better chance to chase up rather than liverpool, liverpool sometimes play badly, but arsenal keep on playing consistent , but their defender is pretty much crap when they are against Monaco

3 out of 4 picks correct for this week. Im surprised west ham couldn't score one against Chelsea. not a great Chelsea performance all around, but well done to them for winning a tough derby match.

Arsenal are great when they have no chance of winning the league, as soon as they start to get close (something that happens quite a lot) they get nervous and drop points stupidly.
I look forward to the day when they actually maintain a title charge, they are still the best team to watch, but I don't see it being anytime soon.

Arsenal seems to be on top form currently, although i agree with you that they always bust out their chance to get the title by playing inconsistently, there is a few weeks left to play , chelsea are defending their current rank, with Man City to tail them, MU seems to be not consistent on their form, lets see if Arsene Wenger will pull up for this season

I don't think so. They can't afford to slip up in the Premier League. They're only 5 points ahead so two losses and City could go overtake them. I think Chelsea are far the better team than City but they can't afford to lose any games or draw and the match against West Ham was very close. I hope Chelsea do have a couple of tough games because it will make the title race a bit more exciting.

The chelsea keeper is insane would be one reason.  Also alot of the west ham chances were half chances.  Chelsea just a solid annoying team which will always do well.
