Title: Request for feedback. FastCash4Bitcoins is considering going global.
Post by: TangibleCryptography on July 26, 2012, 02:00:18 PM
We have been offering fast payouts to bitcoins users for three months now and our new automated website just hit the thirty day mark.  While we are happy to report we have purchased over 40,000 BTC in the last month there is one group of sellers who have been neglected, the entire rest of the world.

We have been in negotiations with a partner to provide international payment processing.  The same great service we have offered US customers now available to the world (well 13 countries of the world).

Countries available:
Australia (AUD)
Canada (CAD or USD)
Denmark (DKK)
France (EUR)
Germany (EUR)
Hungary (HUF)
Italy (EUR)
Mexico (MXN)
Neterlands (EUR)
New Zealand (NZD)
Spain (EUR)
Sweden (SEK)
United Kingdom (GBP)

Payout Options (may vary by country):
Local Check.  Check/draft will be printed locally (in country) and delivered by your local post to your address.
EFT bank transfer.   Transferred from a local bank using your countries national banking network (ACH/EFT/SEPA).

The fees ("boo"):
Coins are purchased at our standard rate (which trades at a discount to MtGox last price)
Cost of a locally printed check - free
Cost of a EFT/SEPA transfer - free

Exchange Rate:
We will continue to price coins in USD and will pay our vendor in USD.  The amount due will be converted to your local currency and the vendor does profit from exchange rate.  The rates are relatively good usually within 1% to 2% of best exchange rates offered by banks/brokerages.

Timeline:
Looking to sign a deal and go live in mid August

There are significant startup costs and capital allocation requirements associated with this venture.  We are interested in your feedback.

Remarkable! I'm a fan of your services here in the US. Great Bitcoin success story, and very inspiring.

Assuming you manage to keep the fees low, you'll profit from people doing arbitrage (or by doing it yourself with all these tools at hand).

If it doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing deal, then start by going where they aint.

 - UK (GBP) is the largest expansion market for this service.  There is room for more cash-out options
 - Mexico (MXN) - One of the largest remittance markets in the world, and not a single bank-friendly cash-out method exists (well, Bit-Pay offers it but only for its merchants)
 - Hungary (HUF) - No other exchanges yet.
 - New Zealand (NZD) - There is a NZ exchange, but liquidity issues make it expensive for cashing out larger amounts.
 - Sweden (SEK) - Same ... an exchange here exists, but doesn't handle larger amounts well (yet).

Fairly comprehensive list of cash-out methods:

You are always thinking Stephen.  :)

In this case though the costs are for integration with a third party provider which has an existing global disbursement network.  Once that is done there is no incremental cost for supporting all 13 destination countries listed in the OP.  We can support all 13 just as easily as supporting just one or a few.

Still as you pointed out there are some interesting and under-supported countries in the list.

How about just sending fiat in the mail. Everything else isn't really cash.
