Auction ends February 20th, 2015 at 6:00 PM Hawaiian Standard Time

Minimum bid will start at 2BTC. Bidding will be done in 0.005BTC increments. Shipping will be $30 for US and $50 for International bidders. This will be added to the winning bid after the auction.(ID will be required upon delivery for pickup) for both domestic U.S. and international customers. Bitcoin is the only accepted form of payment for this auction. Coins for this auction will ship out by March 2nd, 2015.

The brass coins come in tubes of 20. Addresses for all coins will be in BLACK font type. Coin #'s are random. The silver coins will come in clear air tight capsules. No leatherettes will be included.

BACKGROUND:

1. 0.1 BTC brass coins with black font type are prefixed with "1Btc" addresses. Only 500 will be sold and created.
2. 1 LTC brass coins with black font type are prefixed with "LTC" addresses. Only 2000 will be sold and created. Uses original LEALANA holograms.
3. All Bitcoin silver coins are prefixed with "1BTC" addresses.
4. 10 LTC coins are prefixed with "LTCX" addresses.
5. 5 LTC coins are prefixed with "LTC5" addresses.
6. The 1/2 oz 0.25 BTC coins with gold holograms are part of a limited supply of 200. This is the third time they have been auctioned off to the public.
7. The 1 oz 0.5 BTC coins with gold holograms are part of a limited supply of 100. This is the first time they have been auctioned off to the public.


For this auction there is the option to not fund the coin prior to shipping or to pre-fund before being shipped. Specifically for this auction I will allow the winner to choose which coins and how many they want to be funded. Not all of the coins need to be funded. But any coins that aren't prefunded before shipping will marked BUYER FUNDED on the holograms.

THESE COINS ARE BUYER FUNDED. Should the winner choose to pre-fund the coins before I ship them, they will accept the risks involved with shipping funded coins through USPS registered mail. The coins will be valued at the price paid plus the bitcoin that is loaded on to them (if they are pre-funded by the winner). Winner agrees to hold LEALANA, LLC. and myself innocent of any losses while in transit (in the small event the coin goes missing/stolen while in transit).

Any customs/VAT taxes or fees that are placed on the package while going through customs for international customers are the responsibility of the buyer/winner to pay.

Should bids come in at the last minute I will allow for the auction to extended by 15 minute increments between bids. Once the 15 minutes is up and no bidding is done after the deadline specified ABOVE, the auction will end. To be clear on the precision of the auction times in 15 minute increments we are talking about the actual MINUTE and not the seconds that are posted on the forum timestamp.

Payment is due within 72 hours from the time the auction ends. Should the winner not honor their bid and not provide payment in that 48 period the next highest bidder will be required to honor their bid. Hmm, actually, It could be more valid than your one bid of 3.14159265 as not in .005 increments. (unless smoothie were to round down) should have been 3.140 or 3.145.
That could make the auction over at my prior 3.135 bid and your next valid bid did not come in within 15 min then.?

I assume that his rules state that a bid must be at least .005 above the prior bid. To my knowledge he has accepted odd amount bids before.

I was questioning the validity of your prior bid because it was made 15 minutes and 38 seconds after my last bid (your bid of 3.16 was not high enough above my prior bid), but he has a strange rule about it only being to the minute, not second, so I am not sure.

my understanding has always been in increments of .005, not necessarily .005 higher than the last bid. That is the way I always do it.

Your bid of 3.18 was only 0.004445 more then my last bid and your bid of 3.16 was only .0045 more then my bid of 3.1555

Since 15 minutes has passed since my bid of 3.175555 then I win, assuming he rejects your bid of 3.18 since it was not .005 more then my last bid (although smoothie really does need to be here to clarify)

Smoothie, is it correct that bids go in .005 increments in general, not .005 higher that last bid?  Bids from what i have seen do not normally extend further than 3 digits past decimal point, or of they do, the third digit is at least a multiple of 5?

I see your point but the interpretation by bitguy although is incorrect he does appear to be wanting to outbid you. Either he is bad at math or misunderstood the auction rules.

In future auctions I will stick with an easier increment like. 0.01BTC

Your interpretation was incorrect but I will let it go and start from my post above where I restarted the 15 min period.

The only reason I am letting it slide is because you obviously wanted to outbid him but had a misinterpretation of the rules or were bad at math. Neither of which I can fault you for.

So with a auction with a high bid of 1.016 and a bid increment of .005, then the least they can bid in order for the bid to be accepted is 1.021, correct?

He bid 3.8, and then immediately retracted it and bid 3.18 which is less then .005 then my last bid.

Maybe it's just late, as I liked your "noon" auctions better, but honestly I didn't interpret it states must be .005 higher than last bid, just in .005 increments, meaning .005, .010, .015, .020, etc.....

To be clear I believe bitguy101 still wanted to outbid you (Panthers). His understanding of the increments is what messed him up.

Sorry, that was just a typo, hit 3.80 instead of 3.180, just missed the 1, and fixed it to what I thought was following rules.

I understand that however a major rule in auction strategy is to know the rules of the auction (no pun intended)

And after the 1st time he bid too low, I told him his bid was invalid and he corrected his bid to be higher

Just had added next .005 increment as knew it was last min and didn't have time to see what you were talking about.

@Panthers, I can understand both sides but you have to admit his misunderstanding was due to me not being here to clarify. Hence there is 15 minutes between bids...and me not being here...bitguy can answer for himself if he intended on outbidding you or not. I will not speak for him.

You can see all my bids were in .005 increments, just not necessarily .005 higher, which was the discrepancy.

For future auctions I will disallow any extra decimal places (to the right of the min increment decimal place) in bids as it makes things more confusing.

My point in restarting the auction was to show that it wasn't me trying to get you guys to bid higher is why I called the auction the way I did.

Simply that was my point of view of how I saw things and how they unfolded.

Bitguy101 bid twice to attempt to outbid you, but since he had a misunderstanding of the rules that was not clarified in time I made a call to restart the auction.

It wasn't about changing the rules. It was about clarifying them. Since his intent was by his own words to outbid you, I restarted the auction the way I did.

Adding extra decimal places at the end of the bid makes it more confusing (even to me) and actually adds little value to the actual bid being made.

For future auctions there will be disallowed extra decimal places to the right of the min bid increment.
