Mine hasn't been so great. I try every week to win back my previous losses and end up digging a bigger hole for myself.

So how's it been for you? Have you made any profit?

I haven't made a crazy amount or anything, I usually just gamble for fun.

I definitely would not chase a loss though, that's the worst thing you can do. It will emotionally destroy you if you continue to lose. It will be hard but just cut your losses IMO.

so far im only on -.3 profit.. but im still hoping that i can recover from my losses.. :)

Lost some in Ponzis and some in Dice game, Gamblig is definitely not suited for me.

I used to bet a lot on single events and expected the favorites to win every time but the results were terrible so now I am keeping a stern bank roll and only betting a fraction of it.

i am wreck :D i haven't lost much but i lost whatever amount i invested in gambling. it was fun though. the thrill of luck when it happens is good thing to experience

Well, mostly neutral, I play only with pocket change for fun. Sometimes a few bits profit, sometimes a few bits loss, not much :)

Somehow the only money I lost on gambling were from giveaways and u used it to test the games. When I play with my own money I usually quit after first 1 or 2 small wins.
Didn't count it, but my profits should be somewhere around 0.05 BTC  ::)

There are periods of time when I win and same lose too in short terms. In the long term house win they dont let everyone to take money from the house(betting sites) away.

they let you take the money away if you are not greedy and manage to stop while youre in profit

I second you here let me add in this , I think at start almost everyone win and has chance to take the profit but majority of players think they can win always and in the long run they go in loss.

Today i lose 0.016 from betting

Lose around 0.2BTC in the previous bets and after that,I always lose, I could never touch gamebling again. :-\

Same story like mine I play just for fun with very little amount and in general I am in profit.

I'm annoyed by the ponzi schemes. It would be fine for some people to get big payoffs while others lose, like the lottery, but the games that don't pay out or just disappear are BULLSHIT! Ruins it for the rest of the legit games.

If I calculate I'll probably be on the losing side but then again I don't gamble too much.

My worst enemy: rage betting.

I make most of my small btc income through poker. Only problem is that it doesn't cover my losses through dicing and other various gambling expidentures. I am at a net loss.

Used to be up in profit until I had too much btc in my wallet and I bet too much on satoshidice, and lost 0.7, since then it taught me a lesson and I NEVER hold any amount more than 0.1 wallet. I keep it all in my exchange where withdraws take a while so it keeps me from gambling since my money is bit farther from reach. Xapo.com is even better since there is at least 24 hour delay in withdraw from your vault and it is very secure there as well.

Keeping your funds in an exchange is also not a good idea dude. You never know when they're gonna say they got hacked and run away with your money.

Lol.. hope you can afford to lose, because in the end the house will ALWAYS win  8)

It is a proven addiction, triggering you to spend more then you wish, giving you the rush of what you might win and when you lose, lose big and take bigger risk every bet.
Then starting again, hoping you can better yourself, promise yourself you will play more safe, step out with the profit and do not bet bigger than you want, but then you lose again and try to win it back but lose it all... eat sleep bet repeat

Love my journey so far. I first deposited 0.01 and I took it to 0.20 on primedice. Back then I thought hey If I can get it to 0.2 I can easily get to 0.3 right? Wrong. I lost all the 0.2 and was sad for a few days. Then I got the nerve and deposited another 0.01 and this time I lost. Then I told myself no more fucking it up so I deposited 0.01 and took it to 0.20 and withdrew. I was so happy after this I didn't really care about my 0.01 loss. So then I found this guy, he told me to do something in reward for a small bounty of 0.1. I was like sure! I deposited that money to Primedice and lost it almost immediately. Now, I currently have 0.01 in Primedice in which I slowly made it to 0.03. I plan on cashing out very very soon!

Today I got profit from betting because of want to get more profit, eventually loss  :-\

Lifetime? Lost roughly 130 BTC to dice, give or take 20 or 30 BTC. Up about 50 BTC in sports.

Making money from betting is a challenging one, the main problem is money management, if you dont have a proper money management then you cant win from the betting.   Betting is not a rich quick thing, may be 2 or 3% lucky guys, its a very slow process like Money Trading, Share Trading etc.   You have to first understand when  you invest in banks, we receive a maximum of 10% interest per year, so you try to make 10% per month, or 50% yearly, that may help your betting fund.  DONT BET ALL YOUR MONEY IN ONE GAME.  This rule is very important, your team may win or not, that we cannot predict, we can say there is a chance for winning, but we cannot say 100% sure.  So bet 5% or below each and every bet may be make you atleast some profit per year.  Its only my opinion....

Yes mate.. That is the best way to go.. Slow n steady wins the race... If u try to go all in on one game..u might be profitable.. The first time.. But it won't happen always! So betting in units is a better strategy.. If u r looking for +EV methods..

My strategy is so simple you can't believe it. I play roulette when I'm bored,European one, I bet around a single dozen,or surely on the dozen or around numbers in 5 spots aka where they pay you 8-1

Today I lost 0.035 in sports bet, too many defeats on the sports bet because I always played in 500 odds - 2500 odds, and you know it's difficult to win  ;D

Thats odds very high maybe you should make parlays with lower odds.

Seems like the pool is very reflective of house edges, slightly more losses and neutrals than wins. I am probably a bit in profit over all sites, but only because of giveaways like primedice and luckyb.it chat bot. I have been trying to quit after losing a bunch. Better to make your money stabily with a real job.

If the house edge is much closer to 51%, why do we have so many more losers than winners in this poll?

My gambling journey so far i am up thousands in fiat but that is threw poker and not anything else i am down quite a bit on roulette playing it with my winnings was hard times soon got out of that habbit though.

Down around 20BTC. Gambling for you sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but through this journey I've only encountered 2 websites that I can fully trust Coinroyale and Primedice.

That is not a loss that is an experience, well done walking away after that small amount, i am down a little i guess but i have had fun while doing it so i do not class it as a lost and i never got to excited and spent more than i wanted to.
That is the main advice i can give play but do not get carried away they are games and they are games that will always beat you so when you beat it walk away for the day until the next time/

Yeah best advice on gambling is not to gamble. I just the time and excitement on small amounts of btc could be worth it for some people even if they lose.

Haha that is the best gambling strategy, not gambling  ;D you can get much better value for your dollar with video games, especially DotA 2, it costs no btc and I have about a thousand hours on it. Gambling is fun but you are losing money along with having fun.

For me, not all is lost, and I have still been able to come out without losing it all in my gambling journey. I am actually still ahead in sports betting, but at a losing side at dice.

 its hard to make a bunch of money gambling these days. all sites seem out for everything in your wallet. its either your lucky day or its not IMO

If you play do it for fun. Don't try to chase after losses. Most profit I made was with sports betting. Used to take advantage of deposit bonuses on a few sites. Made a few hundred dollars from it.

Ouch that is not great, it is also not the way to gamble you should never chase your losses because as you have found out they will very rarely come back.

For me it has been quite good i only ever bet what i can afford to lose and i have fun while i am betting because i am not chasing.

Profits i am pretty much even can you believe there is probably about a bitcoin either way up or down but it is not much and i have spent quite some time on the sites.

gambling is the only hobby where perseverance is NOT good. Chasing your losses only results in more lost. Just try and suck it up and know that you will probably just lose anymore.

I am ahead about .35 of a BTC but play small stakes. I play at Betcoin.ag and it reminds me of PokerStars.

0.35 ahead is quite good, I think you should quit right now, getting ahead of the game means you "beat" the odds and are already lucky, and you probably will eventually end up losing it all if you keep gambling. Whats the best current poker site?

I play no hold-em on Betcoin-AG. It's some skill and some luck but I love to play and will keep going. On the last turny I played in I ended up 21st out of @500 players and just got tired at 6+hours of play. I play almost all cash games but have done a couple free roll turnys.

Man spending 6+ hours on the computer is quite a bit of time, especially because you can't take breaks since your in a tournament. I guess if you like what you do then you are not wasting your time.

I play mostly cash games but they did do a free roll turny and you do get breaks as you go. I think my 21st place paid me .06 BTC

0.06 btc is about 12$ or so, so think about it like this. You obviously did well in the tournament, but in your very good place which took 6 hours to do, you made 12$. If you were working at a job for 6 hours, at minimum wage you would make more than 60$ after taxes. Think about it like that.

LoL I don't play for a living as I am retired. I play for the fun of it and the money is only a way to keep score.

Right, most users here are kind of young since bitcoin is new and very technological. Didn't really expect anyone retired on here! I guess if you play for fun, 13$ for free isn't bad, go buy something nice for yourself!

Yeah, it would be poker I am guessing and it's somewhat about luck. Although, some would argue that it's mostly about skills but I have seen people get stupid lucky with cards I usually throw away. And my luck usually leaves my side at the "River".

Got some profit on PD and Nitrogen, lost a bit on some other dice sites. All in all, my gambling profit is close to zero.

Yes of course anyone that is taking money from the casino's i hope they keep growing their profits also, nice that you are going into profit i had a nice weekend ended up losing about 0.6btc but it was profit from previous gambles and that was profit from previous trades but it still aint great losing sucks but will come to us all and more the more we play.

Haha thats quite funny. I agree, I could never play it in real life, its way too easy to read someones face. You can easily keep a straight face, but one VERY small movement in their lips, eyes, hands, could instantly tell you if they are lying or not given you have enough practice doing so and experience in trying to detect this. The internet takes the calling bluff aspect out of this.

Watched a dicebot get a 23x loss streak. That was pretty much the end of it for me. Came out slightly ahead in the end, though.

Yeah it does and it's not the same at all, I play live table sometimes (rarely though like once a week) and it's completely different and so much better than on-line ones. After playing a few times you get a sort of reading about certain players like what they do differently when they have an actual hand and when they're bluffing.

I have been playing poker all this week and won around 0.6btc but only invested 0.15btc so that is a clear profit but then the flashy lights took hold and i ended up spending the profit on Dice and BJ so it turns out i could only walk away with what i started with give or take a few satoshi, at least it was fun while it lasted lol

Really well.  Poker and sports gambling are the only online gambling where you can potentially have an edge.  Cleaned up back in the day at online poker, now its much tougher.

My just dice experiment was long time ago. Probably BTC was not more than 100$. If we think about $ currency I'm positive more. :)

Mine is really bad 2 month ago I really lost .3 btc on satoshimine. From them 4 days ago I managed to make .12 btc from primedice by depositing just 3$. After that I again deposited 3$ but lost all. After that I started to investing in dice game and started loosing my btc. And now I again left the gambling.

I always gambled with faucets and tried to make some huge amounts, may sound too good to be true but I once made 0.025 with just 2k sats faucets at win77.me as I was the most active player to play rpsls all the time, regarding other sites, I might say that they are a bit loss for me ATM, loss of time as I haven't made much since then... All in all, experience was good, losing your time if gives you bitcoins which is hard nowadays, then I think it is good...

I just lost 0.14BTC on satoshibet.com on slot game plus roulette . Today I had bad day was not my day surely. In general I am still in profit as I made few btc from gambling sites . Gambling is sure way to get nothing .

I tried gambling a bit, got lucky at first, but lost many(a lot of thousands) dogecoins (just glad they are not worth much and still decreasing) on bikinidice and don't gamble since then. Investment on bankroll part might be good, but you are always tempted to take some from there and gamble yourself, then even more to get even, then all of them... And when you lose them - you don't even invest in bankroll anymore, just forget it... :-\

Won 275 BTC off of PrimeDice using the same exploit that guy who made off with 2000 BTC did. I did it much slower then him to not draw attention and eventually the hole was patched sadly. Wish I had been a little more aggressive and won 2000 BTC like the other did.

Lost about 25-30 of that profit on Nitrogen betting on sports and sold 200+ BTC of it so far.

You cheated a casino by taking advantage of a vulnerability in their script and that's not Gambling.

999 has 0.00304% odds. Only 23 bets got that. Compare that to the hundreds of thousands on the other outcomes. According to the information on the site at least. It's not easy to get and not supposed to be.

Just when I see I am making a lot of profit (using the auto-betting feature), a series of continuous losses, bringing my profit down. My initial 'investment' was lost too. I feel like if I think I am on a winning streak then I would stop and withdraw. It will not happen for me though. I'll just think I will make more and then I'll lose. Maybe I'll get lucky one day. :)
