Title: [Scammer] ChipVPS Post by: madhattr77 on February 22, 2015, 03:15:13 PM What happened: I was looking for a Netflix 12 month code. ChipVPS PM'ed me and said he had a code that was not used and he would take $15 for it. I asked if he would send the code first and after verification, I would immediately send the payment through Paypal. ChipVPS preferred not to do that since we were both new to the forum. I agreed and sent the payment immediately. On February 20th, ChipVPS said he had not claimed the funds but received an email the payment was waiting and said he would send the code within 30 minutes. Never received the code. ChipVPS claimed the funds and never sent the code. He has also logged back in multiple times to the site, so I know he has seen my messages that were sent to him.

Second, I'm pretty sure there are several offerings available on this forum that are not kosher with any company's TOS. If you would read the messages, ChipVPS clearly stated this transaction was a legit one. I am a newbie here, I am not a newbie to forums and marketplaces. Not trying to come off wrong here, but I understand how this works. I just wanted others to be aware of who is trustworthy and who is not. Thanks for your input, though!! ::)

There are plenty of veteran members to do business with and ALWAYS use escrow. If you're a newbie you're doing business with another newbie, there's a 100% chance that you will get scammed (or you're a scammer yourself). 1. New account (usually created within the last 3 months, plus or minus) Title: Re: [Scammer] ChipVPS Post by: madhattr77 on February 22, 2015, 03:46:49 PM Not denying that. I can definitely understand my stupidity on that end. :-[
