Will Facebook will Accept bitcoins in future?

I think , they will accept it. Because, world's top search engine and Biggest company " Google" is working on bitcoins.  I read about it on some website before some days.

i doubt. Facebook has begun to dim, too many ads are displayed.
if any facebook accept bitcoin, ads that appear to seek referrals and it will make bitcoin getting down

just think if facebook start accepting bitcoins how many investors will come to bitcoin currency to adopt the coins

I have no doubt that Facebook will accept bitcoins in future. The reason is very simple, Bitcoin is the future, so if not accept is the same as walking backwards.

I think facebook will accept bitcoins as a payment method. Because, the world's best search engine "google" also now working with bitcoins. So that facebook might also have to work with bitcoins in future ;D  :o
Bitcoins will make easy facebook advertising.

If Facebook integrate bitcoin as one of their payment options, people would start having interest on it and may eventually adopt the system, seeing that it costs them a little less than using credit cards. They (Facebook) can do it, but apparently not at the current conditions of bitcoin. Wait another years (or even months, still depends though) and maybe they'll accept it.

Why would they be forced to accept bitcoin as a form of payment? They can overlook upon that possibility if they want to. I don't understand how you come up with the phrase "forced to accept".  ???

Can be. They can really add another payment system if they want to. If bitcoin continue to get adoption, then maybe they will also integrate the system into their sites as a form of payment.

If that happens i want to be able to buy fb credits with btc and the virtual cash of games

Not forced by laws or politicians, but forced to by market forces making them decide to accept bitcoin or go out of business in much the same way that all large businesses are forced to accept credit cards.

Forced really means here to adopt it to keep up with the market needs

Force may not be the correct time, they will decide to do it to fullfill their client's needs and improve their services.

I wonder if at first they will try FBCoins or something. It seems like the newb thing to do.

No doubt they will try their own custom solution. Reddit has suspended their plans but a similar solution may be adopted by Facebook.

I feel a similar plan by any company would fail. The only thing we might expect something from is the digital currency Gates is getting developed.
All others are going to just come and go.
As for facebook, they should definitely integrate it to their messages like said before.

In any way, it remains a possibility. I don't see any barrier on why they shouldn't do it. Bitcoin is currency or payment option and is no way competing directly with facebook existence. If they accept bitcoin, it will give more option for users to make payment and that would certainly help their business if the demand is great.

That will be the day I will sell them all.

Why would they want bitcoin on their site anyways, their bussiness is clear, and has no problem with paypal or anything.
They wouldnt profit from it. And why would you want facebook to accept bitcoin ? Are u paying facebook for game coins or something? i doubt it, because its stupid.
If you want bitcoin price to be higher, there are better ways , and better audience than broke ass heousewifes, nanas, and children who pay things on facebook.

It will probably accept bitcoin but will bitcoin accept it? lol. If they wanted to facebook will buy nearly all coins that have been created unfortunately it is a drop in the ocean to them is it not?

I think if anything facebook will poach a few good devs and create it's own coin facecredits or something along them lines, but to answer you finally no facebook will not accept bitcoin and i will be glad it does not although that is a lot of free marketing if they did.

I think this because BTC Bitcoin BTC is gaining momentum!! Facebook will accept it as they will get profits through users who are interested as well as help the bitcoin community in return as the price of a BTC will go up if Facebook does start accepting bitcoins. 

I agree. Any company would fail to create their own coin. Since most of the people will know Bitcoin before they know about the 'new coin'.

As to this thread, I think Facebook be adopting Bitcoin soon.

Well, facebook will certainly not collapse if they don't embrace bitcoin so the word "forced" may not necessarily apply. But they do stand every chance to lose out if they don't keep up with the trend. It's part of staying up to date and keeping up with competition. If I only have bitcoin to spend for advertising and found out it is not accepted there, I might as well go for other advertising network where I can spend the coins.

Various plugins on Facebook already accept Bitcoin. Look at ChangeTip for instance.

Mark once announced something regarding Bitcoins to be the future of money, still don't know why this multi-billionaire guy haven't yet invested in this so-crypto currency...

may be he has invested small amount and did not tell any thing may be they are in beta phase

Why would someone try to be that anonymous? Even Winklevoss twins have invested some of their big stakes in BTC, but they didn't hide anything and made everything public...

yeah...but anyways if they r investing in something..that doesnt mean that they have to scream about it everywhere.. It is perfectly fine if he has invested already n not told anyone about it as of yet. Some publicity could only help BTC though! :)

if they do some publicity may be big flacuate in bitcoins we will see when this will happen

The coin's value is simply too unstable for it to work.

If big big companies like Facebook,  Google, etc. will start accepting bitcoins. Then it will be much beneficial for all bitcoin lover. And it will take less time to rise the prices of bitcoins  $1000 .

I can't saee them accepting it. I'd be more inclined to think they'd create their own sort of coin or crappy credit system (maybe they have already - I wouldn't know I don't use it). I would like to see them accepting it though as I think it would be great for adoption.

I bet Facebook will accept Bitcoin as payment method but not yet. Bitcoin must grow before that, become more stable and wider accepted. I dont see that happen in few next years.

True, Mark himself is worth >$38 billion and if he ever decides to buy in, then we may see some hot price hikes which no one would have ever expected...

The answer I think is yes, but facebook accept bitcoin on his own initiative or passively, the answer will be the latter

why not?
BTC is really good stuff for payments. there is no much fees, no wait, secure, etc. not just facebook. bitcoin or altcoins are really best shot for websites. for example steam or game sites. think about it. there is a little boy age 15. parents dont trust him. because he is too young. he might do mistake when he spend his pocket money. give him a wallet. android or ios app. send BTC to him. and maybe your son will be coinrich :)

but if their are good use on the other side missuse also so young students must know how to use and legal way like some gambling
in some country gambling is baned

Authorities can't never know if you gambled or not. Fuck countries that don't allow for some gambling fun anyway.
