Everything "Smart" (TV's, phones...) has the ability to track everything you do, say and watch. In most cases it's sent to third parties for the use of targeted advertisement to you. In special cases it can be activated by authorities to locate/incriminate you. This can all be avoided by not owning above mentioned devices, but we all want our toys... So you have to decide whether you want your shit, or your privacy.

Shutting down encrypted email service just because the NSA can't read their emails doesn't sound like a right to privacy to me.

So does the fact that the credit card companies pushing paypal to stop doing business with MEGA due it's end to end encryption.. I mean, WTF ?!

PayPal is an American business so must adhere to the whims of the US tyranny.

People are using excuses to snoop on our privacy. It's a fact. And how does these relate to apple and its role on helping to protect my privacy. Even on my android phone, I know some of the browsing search history and behavior are being sent anonymously without my knowledge.

In any money system fungibility is what supports privacy.

Tails and a shitty old phone is what Edward uses, but he is an extreme example, most people don't need that level of privacy.

Recently I heard Lenovo laptops have a recorder or some location chip embedded in them. Maybe APple might do the same to invade the privacy , and might already have access to our bitcoin on our systems.

Personally I couldn't give a shit if anyone's watching me on the internet. I'd mainly feel sorry for them wasting their lives doing such a thing.

I can see why it's an important thing for many and privacy shouldn't have to require a conscious effort. So many people are so far gone it may be too late. I'm old enough to have bypassed the desire to put up any piffling details of my life up there for all to see.

If you have a credit card, bank account, email address... just about anything tied to a digital record then you don't have the privacy you think you do.  Go find that spot of rain forest where the pygmies still live and then you may be off the grid enough to enjoy that precious "privacy".

It's not just about you - nobody gives a shit - but you are giving out information about other people you interact with who value their privacy.
