The investment fund Barry Silbert Bitcoin Investment Trust (BIT) announced through the Wall Street Journal to be the first public investment fund traded approved by the self-regulatory group of the American financial industry (FINRA - Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and have your own ticker (BTCV) on the platform of OTC Markets Group (OTCQX).

good news. Wall Street financial elites will put more attention on Bitcoin and include it to their trading selection. They maybe give advice about investing bitcoin to their customers. It will improve its influence on the massses.

Banks are now going to intensify their attacks on Bitcoin. All those cartels will be getting ready to cause more volatility in the Bitcoin price. Even though the news is bullish, watch out for those cartels who will play again and try and crash the price since this news will affect them to an extent. Just hope that the believers do not lose their belief in BTC and continue to hodl their BTC in tough times which are going to manifest themselves soon.

Not yet! I hope the price will increase gradually, not like that skyrocket suddenly! Just because more and more ppl adopt bitcoin and buy up.

A bit irrelevant but the name kinda sounds reminiscent of Pirate's ponzi.

According to Wikipedia, the BTC reserves will be audited by Ernst & Young which is a traditional financial services auditing firm whose customers deal with fiat - not cryptos. I wonder how they are going to manage auditing BTC as I'd imagine the process is quite different than what they're accustomed with and would require technical experience that most accountants don't have.

Overall, I see this as good news for Bitcoin. :)

Bump... this is big news people!.. other forums are giving it high priority.
It's open to all... etrade etc.
A lot of investors are trying to make bids however they're in a waiting period (possibly 30 days).

Moon news.. we've been waiting for over a year now and it hasn't come. I don't expect it anymore.

It's been moon news all along, since the genesis block. It's just that most people aren't perceptive enough to read the signals. Yet.

i don't know if it is related to the recent increasing of price or what but i think it is not all irrelevant to it. anyways i am glad the price started to climb again

Moon news has never incentivised people to buy more. The good news has till now, only brought the price down after a small pump. This is the first time we are moving up even after there hasn't any significant development.
