Also look at the comments below on reddit he thinks its a crime to talk about bitcoin in India. Media clearly isn't portraying the reality, its unfortunate that people outside think India is backward and underdeveloped. It is misunderstood that Bitcoin is a mere currency when it actually brings a lot more value to the technology front. Luckily for India Raghuram Rajan, RBI Governor understands that.

Indian Banks love the new concept of money and mostly its technology so we have a lot of exchanges linked with the banks. India has some smart people at key positions like Head of Indian Central Bank - Reserve Bank of India. RBI's Governor Raghuram Rajan, says "bitcoin is fascinating". The internet and the Bitcoin Block Chain technology being great examples. How can we reorient such an essential financial instrument so that we can offer young people the freedom to follow their hearts and talents instead of restricting them? Peer to peer lending , crowd funding and decentralised platforms of raising capital might just be the answers. They have the potential to free us “don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs most are people who have come alive”.
