Title: primedice ridiculous scam error bug
Post by: Apep on March 12, 2015, 11:48:59 AM
Ok, so let's get this straight.

I'm flyin22 on pd and I'm not crying about any red streak or whatever.

The problem I have with primedice is that my money vanished even though nobody whithdraw it.

What happened is that I had 0.244btc left on primedice, I gambled it on a x2 max roll and won 0.488btc , then I tried to x2 max bet this amount and I had an "insufficent funds" error message. I refreshed the page and my btc balance was 0btc.

I contacted support@primedice.com but they dont give a damn.

I mean, I'm an actuary student , but how difficult it is for a regular human being to understand that  if your last winning bet happened AFTER the last withdrawal on your account and your balance is 0btc there is somehting wrong???

I know what you're all going to tell me : "don't gamble what you can't afford to lose".

The problem is that I lost these 0.48btc because of a bug of the system, I didnt lose them gambling.

I don't care about spending money as long as I spend it GAMBLING and not because of a bug that the staff won't even understand and/or admit.

Waiting for Stunna's answer

What was the betid of your last winning bet? I am not sure why you would be betting your entire bankroll on a single bet though.

Its not the scam site in these days they had some problem they will solve it soon

Bitcoind is currently playing up. Just waiting on lead dev to get on and fix it. Weird issue we haven't ran into before. Hopefully will have our custom Bitcoind equivalent up & running soon so we won't have to deal with these deposits/withdrawal down times.

you can also post here your problem for quick reply: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.0

4,058,001,740 is the id of my last bet, I bet all my bankroll to have more fun, that's what I pay for after all, the emotional rollercoaster.

PrimeDice got ten thousand of customer yet it could hundreds or thousand of email to support which needs to be check one by one, give it up for atleast 48 hours, or you can PM stunna (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=81292) directly

and they got some issue to look at, PD doesnt reply your ticket doesnt mean they are a scam sites, it could be they are fixing something else or answering others' email atm

I am not in a position where I can check that bet ID right now but I am sure someone else will check it to be sure it was a winning bet.

Are you sure that your computer is not infected with some kind of malware?

It's been over a week and I wrote scam/error/bug to get Stunna's attention since other staff members don't want to help me out

is this your account that you use to PM stunna? stunna could be ignoring it since this is just a new account, ( this is my thought )
btw, try to write in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.14760
you might get the attention of micro, hui or either stunna

[...] then I tried to x2 max bet this amount and I had an "insufficent funds" error message.[...]

Is it possible that you clicked the mouse twice without noticing; hence your first click resulted in a losing bet and the 2nd click told you that you have insufficient bet? This would make sense since after your lose your whole balance on first click, you'll have 0BTC to bet on the 2nd click.

You can verify this on your betting history. Is the WINNING bet your LAST bet?

Check tx log and tip log. Malware could have sent a tip to another user...easily.

(As in I can code something for that in maybe half an hour or less.)

Now your best option would be to take all the screenshots you can to prove your point and post them to Stunna at whatever the places you think he is checking - official PD thread on this forum, PM him, post on his twitter/facebook etc.

If this is a glitch or an error, primedice will surely rectify it. And IMHO you should've posted this in their thread or PM'ed Micro or Stunna first before opening a scam accusation.

But what's done is done, let's wait and see now what really happened.

If this would have been a glitch then primedice would have rectified it after his email and would have refunded it. He most probably lost the all in bet(in the last) and certainly he is hiding something from us. Although its too early to say this but I just think he is pissed off because he lost(no offence). Tens of thousands of players never had this kind of glitch.

Absolutely not, and the primedice staff can check that I'm not hiding anything.I'm pissed because my money vanished and I didnt have the chance to gamble it.

Edit: check my profile I lost more than 3btc on pd and I don't give a damn because I had a lot of fun, this is what I pay for after all

Can you PM me the account login details so that I can check and verify everything(as you don't have any balance then you shouldn't have any problem)? Once I do it you can Change the password. Or you can send the password to some more trusted person like MICRO so that he can verify, this way we can vouch for you and your reason will get more attention.
Or just PM stunna

It is not a good idea to give up your password to someone. Especially if they are not trusted. It would likely result in that person taking any funds that you may end up recovering as a result of this incident. Stunna or other owners at PD can look into your claim just fine.

Well that's why I suggested MICRO. He is pretty trusted(at least for me he us). Anyways pd guys will soon sort it out. We don't have to worry.
P.S: I also said that you can change your password after someone is over with the account check.

The support is most probably sleeping ATM. They are located in Australia so its still sleeping time there. Wait a bit, they wont leave you disappointed if you are legit.

"I'm going to forward this to a dev because it appears you account evens out, that the deposits, withdrawals, and profit all add up, so the potential issue is not obvious to solve.

Sorry for the delay,
PrimeDice"

Hmm, this is a bit disturbing.. cause I know the website does have a few bugs at times like the dice roll lagging if there was abuse.

But I never heard something like a bug that vanish the balance. I really wish you had a screen cap of your previous balance or something to work off of.

Not that I dont believe you, its just most situations they would fix it on the spot.

Edit: Seems like the support actually did reach out to you, so just wait for them to re-credit your balance. Give it another 2 days at most?

Op did you ever get around that problem of proving proof?

you should upload your side, and if its actually a bug im sure you`ll get reimbursed with the credit thats owed back to your account.

Either that I`m going to assume your case is resolved based on not updating the thread, or you just dont care anymore lol.

So I guess this thread lol.

Or most likely Stunna already credited the dude for the loss of bug etc. But I find it funny that people claim a 2 year old plus dice site to be a scam though, cause they lose their own funds on a bet.

And then they make up claims like this?
