Is the strong positive news cycle getting a bit out of hand?
Why is the mainstream news "promoting" Bitcoin so much?

all it really takes is 'information and belief' by the right person or band of people, then it's all about follow the leader

Ever since coinbase indicated that they wanted into the game and to do it in such a way that appears honest (insurance, regulated, audits, etc ...) it allowed the 'mainstream' investment avenues to give bitcoin another peek.

Now other exchanges (the W twins) are considering the creation of such 'integrity' exchanges

Smart woman, she knows that one should think outside the box.
What I didn't like is the guy comparing it to fool's gold. You have to be dumb to come up with such stupid point when talking about Bitcoin. Fools gold was worthless because it was fake, looked like the real thing but was something else. Bitcoin doesn't emulate anything or mislead people into thinking it can be worth something. It already is worth something and it is being used - fool's gold never made it that far.

The coverage gets positive in venues that bankers and their market analysts watch thus signaling to those people that this particular currency/commodity/payment system is legit to begin to dabble in. Fox Biz is such a venue that market players/institutionalists watch, while more of the retail investors watch CNBC where Parent Co GE uses this place to collect funds from companies and hedge funds to sell bags to the stooges as the bigger players are exiting, in many instances. While this interview/news falls under the 'business' topic, go figure that Fox would not be showing such an interview by a prominent person on the main station that has the most viewers in the US at any on time since putting this concept on the minds of the regular watchers isn't part of the plan early on. What is part of the plan for the regular Fox channel is pushing propaganda 24/7 and ginning up the war machine on the minds of the average republican viewer.

Because their masters have started buying it now since they've made enough people dump it :P too bad they're playing by our rules now, they won't win.
