Hello! I would like to present Robot Coin Game- A fun new faucet game where you earn more as you level up! (http://robotcoingame.com)

The game is simple, the more satoshis you have in your balance, the higher your level will be, and the more satoshi you can claim. Everytime you cash out, you start back at Level 1.
**UPDATE 4/19/2015**

You can share your Robot on Facebook and Twitter to earn a 30% bonus on your next claim. We also have Referrals, and we do direct deposits to your wallet! If you use a Xapo address, your rewards will show up instantly. If you are using a non-Xapo wallet, your rewards will appear anywhere from 1-3 hours after cashing out.

Well due to the nature of the site and game, it would be a little too easy if someone levels up just by getting referrals. I want players to be engaged in the faucet and level up by coming to the site themselves, not gaining levels passively.  Players will be able to get bonuses from sharing via Facebook, and I am also in the process of creating a game where, depending on your score, you will get extra bonuses added to each claim.

Did this error happen when you closed the share window? Or after you actually shared?

Thank you! Yes I agree the referral system will attract more users... but it was a decision I had to make since I want players to level up by engaging in the site, not by racking up referral points. I doubt I'll be featured in any popular faucet lists because of this, but I am hoping the site is unique enough to garner the attention it needs :)

Nope I fully intend to grow this site as well as create more fun faucets. My mission is to help make Bitcoin mainstream. There have been a few users who already exploited the share bonuses (following me on twitter, then unfollowing, then following again). If anyone can PM me on a solution to make the site less exploitable? I really want this to be a clean, fun site that is enjoyed by all.

Who is the highest level?

What I like about this site is that there is no investment offered (at least you can't lose anything) and the rewards at highest level are substantial compared to other faucets.
Anyway, keep up the good work and don't run away!  ;)

Right now, the highest level is 9... though I'm sure that person used the follow exploit (I had the follow button add a 50% bonus to the total bonus, and people were just following, unfollowing, and following for a 900%+ bonus!) I fixed that, and hopefully we'll be safe for now haha.

I eventually just removed the Follow Bonus and replaced it with a Tweet Bonus. I will put in the Follow button again, but I'll probably be making it like - If we reach 500 followers, claim time will be 10 minutes for the week promo. I would love to know more suggestions! Just discovered a bug

I reached level 8 , and in this morning all my money "All time balance: 138,443 satoshis" disapeared, I am now level 1, but I didn't cash out.
Please fix this ASAP , because my level was reset to 1 without explanation

Hmm I only deleted one balance today because the other two exploiters cashed out before I could catch them. You guys were claiming over 66,000 satoshi every 10 minutes while I was sleeping. The worst guy was claiming over 100k and cashed out at over 1 mil satoshi. I hope you understand what you did was kinda shady and a little selfish to the other people actually playing the game fairly. I won't ban you or anything, you can still claim, but next time, if you see an exploit please message me first :D Thanks!

Thank you very much :) I've only been introduced to Bitcoin this year, and when I was starting out I felt a little unsure if faucets were legit, because most of them were just littered with ads, etc. At one point I was convinced I was downloading malware whenever I claimed. Now that I know a little more about Bitcoin, and just love the whole idea and mission, I wanted to create a place where newcomers can feel safe claiming some free satoshis, and also have fun while doing it :) I really hope one day, people will tell their friends and family that Robot Coin Game is the place to start out :D If you have any suggestions on how to make the site more educational on Bitcoin, I'd love to know!

Help!!!! Someone found an exploit and was about to claim 10 million satoshi in one claim! I have no idea how he did it, but I was able to stop him before he cashed out -_- Can someone please help! I don't know what to do!

Ok I found out he hacked the level system and made himself level 318. Thank goodness I didn't have enough funds for him to withdraw his 10 million satoshis...  His address is 16N6Mz48nkeW2werq4ejYLQeh2hd1q5zbu... Does anyone have any ideas on how he could have changed the level from front end?

Wasn't shown in the leaderboard of such an amount, but lucky for all of us or else many of us would not receive any payment for lack of funds.

It was 10 minutes ago and I caught him just as he was doing it!! So lucky... but any ideas?? I don't have any way to set levels from the front end and I don't even call it in the front end. The only way levels change is if current balance > number til next level

The way he did it was he was claiming normally, then his claim went from 288, to 25,250 to 100,100, to 10,000,100

well then... wish i could help somehow but im not technical like that. :(

Some suggestions...
1. Restrict max limit leveling and payout to level 15 and never more, up to level 15 will be forced payout.
2. Make a manual checkup (may need some algorithm to do auto checkup) of each payout request before approval to make sure the leveling is authentic and not abnormal before approving.

OK I think I found the vulnerability!! There was another share bonus exploit -_-.... He used another address and I was able to stop him before he claimed... He had a 7,000 bonus on it, which when he claimed would have multiplied that with 100, thus giving him the crazy claim...


For any techy people: I used ajax to send over the info from the front end.... how do I make this secure or encrypted so they dont' hack it?

You should enforce manual processing for withdrawals until you're sure that the vulnerability has been fixed, otherwise these guys will just keep trying to rob you. Surely they're keeping an eye on this thread too.

It was my fault having a number transfer over from the front end... I'm retarded I know how to fix this hahah

Just a suggestion:
1. Every auto processing to trace back the accumulation pattern of the account, thus each increment must never be more than 11,500 * 1.30 (max, from share bonus, and changes as the share bonus reward changes) if the account is at Level 15, less if at lower level.
2. Every increment must never be less than 10 minutes interval (of course will change to 20 minutes once the promotion is over).

These may make sure each account is authentically accumulating satoshis in a fair manner without fraud.

Site is back up! Resume playing! No one's balances or levels or anything was affected... the vulnerability was that this guy was making an obscene share bonus number and applying it to his claim. I've got a solution for this... hopefully!

^_^ It was all sherlock holmes deduction... I was tracing his ip and his claims, and I noticed he had a new address... so I tracked that address and found the 7,000 share bonus on his account. I seriously would not have guessed it so fast if he hadn't been greedy and tried to cashout again

After exploring these forums and stumbling upon this thread, I decided to check out some bitcoin faucets.  Your site seems different and interesting.  The relatively few advertisements and generous payouts suggest your site cannot be as profitable as others.   If your site works as intended, do you expect it to lose money?

What I find more interesting is that your site is like an experiment in trust.  If users believe the site will not suddenly disappear without forwarding their accumulated Satoshi to their FaucetBox accounts, then they should postpone requesting a cashout until they really need the money or plan to stop using your site.  Thus, the frequency of user cashouts reflects the level of their distrust.

My goal for the site is to help bring Bitcoin to the masses. They can actually earn good amounts of satoshis, the only thing they have to do is visit the site and share their progress on social networks. I fully intend to payout everyone and reward those who are active on the site and help spread the love. I am totally fine with breaking out even in this, if I do earn a bit of money that would be a bonus :)

Ah shoot guys... I really messed up hahah My maths was not correct when I launched the site... The number of claims you have to make to reach the next level was supposed to increase, but I messed up my math and it just took around 20 claims every time to level up! I am going to fix the math so that it is correct.... All you early adopters, you guys just got a massive massive bonus :D Enjoy it and sorry I had to let the honeymoon end (This would never be sustainable for me if it continued like this)

For some clarification: The next level threshold that was there when I launched was supposed to be added to your current balance to get you to the next level. I actually didn't add it to the current balance, and instead it was just seeing if your total balance was as much as the next level threshold. Therefore, everyone was leveling waaay faster than intended... I was so curious how people were at level 19 already when it should take more than 3 days to do it!! Sorry for those that are used to this easy leveling up, but you understand right?? No way I could payout everyone at this rate :P

i most definitally understand because i was wondering myself how it would be sustained, i have religiously clicked the ads and been thinkin man that levels quick. i noticed you have adjusted the levels to be more accurate and i think thats fine, this site has the chance to be a ACTUAL LEGIT LEVEL BASED faucet game , based on ad revenue and promotion, instead of having ZERO ADS and A SITE KILLING REFERRAL PROGRAM (2 things in my opinion that kill a sites revenue and scream ponzi to users) . u can actually get up to 30% (15 from Fbook share, 15 from Twitter) share bonus on EVERY claim, so i personally think thats generous but that's just me haha

I think you should force cashout of the top 10 in the leaderboard, because if you don't there is an extremely high possibility you may run out of money very fast. Because the claim per every 10 minutes is 50,000+++.

I've seen enough of faucet startups that just end with a whimper because they always run out of fund too soon.

i think you maths a little off :P at level 19 you would gain 13,500 roughly every ten minutes, and that's WITH the 30% bonus :P  theres still no doubt thats an aweosme high number even at 13,000 so a mandatory cashout may be in order, or maybe patience is the game haha.

For now, there is an automatic cashout when you reach level 20. I won't force cashout anyone else, because it was my fault for messing up the math, and it is the price I have to pay. Also, I would rather pay than lose my loyal players, and I think of it as a bonus to those who took a chance at it and continued to play  :)

if as you say it will cash out when reaching level 20 then no one will have the advantage of that level

Yes that would benefit the users, but it wouldn't benefit the site... In order to be a legit site, there has to be limitations so that the amount I give out, can be earned back with the ad revenue on the site. This model has never been done before (where it is purely faucet and no investments) so I'm still willing to tweak a few things. Feedback is always appreciated :D

This definitely requires efforts, time and electricity. Its tempting in starting but people will get over this since it requires a lot more input then output. OP should do something more innovation on this.

personally i wouldn't. referrals are abused, multiple same person accounts made, plus even BIG companies like Cointellect and GAW blame their failure partially on abuse of referral system soo... course thats just my opinion :)

Bingo, and with the amount of satoshi you can potentially earn on the site, it would really suck the faucet dry by paying out the referral commissions. That plus I don't think it's fair if some can easily level up passively and some would have to claim manually.

You can start investing system on this and can give level accordingly for a period of time. You can plan on this it would be more exciting for users.

With all the scams and ponzi schemes, I didn't want anyone sending money to the site (other than to donate), with a chance they might lose their money. If someone hacks the site, the most damage will come from me, but at least no one would lose money they put in (time is a different discussion). People will always be looking for a quick profit site, but they won't find it in Robot Coin Game. It's a way to slowly, but surely earn Bitcoin. There are plenty of gambling and investment sites already out there, so I just want to be different and clean :)

Actually, if u vote and click some ads, and noone abuses it, you prob WILL reach 20 :) i only made 19, cashed out at 4 million :) the average faucet balance over zee course of a month DEPENDING on admin profit is around .80 BTC so depending on ad revenue and before mentioned factors, its quite fiesable :)
of course keep in mind that its the highest paying faucet Either way sooo...

How come when I share it the bonus is 15% and not 30%? And also you could share this multiple times for 15% over and over again.

Yes definitely agree with the "boring after a period of time" part. That's why I am in the process of creating a fun robot game that you can play while you wait to claim. Depending on your score, you can get bonuses to your next claim. This was my original plan and I plan to stick to it :) Right now, I'm just making sure the actual faucet is working correctly :P

dear OP you see, there are people on leadersboard, and saw that some of the probably cashed out,it risky that we spend a lot of time to get to level 20, how can we get some proof of the huge payments? Here is the latest payouts from faucetbox on my account. I WILL NOT share full addresses because I did that for a minute on the leaderboard, and some people took advantage of that and cashed out some of them (they lost their place in the leaderboard and had to start from level 1)

Since when you put on page that little game "connect the dots", I cant play robotcoingame from my smartphone or tablet. This is a major limitation for me because I always have a smartphone with me, but not a PC. Maybe you'll find a solution to load robotcoin page on smartphone or tablet.

Sorry I had to increase to 20 minutes because I was having to give more satoshi than I was earning back in ad revenue. If you think about it, 20 minutes is still shorter than most faucets that payout every hour and range from 100- 1,000 satoshis. You are level 9, so you are claiming 2,700 satoshis every 20 minutes.. that's still good right? Anyways, that's why I need the community's help to spread the word. The more visitors and players I get, the more ad revenue I can potentially earn, and lower the claim times. If we reach 5,000 twitter followers, I'll be activating 10 minute claim week for a full 7 days.

Having the 20 minute delay between requests is fine in my book. It's a game, it's all about consistency and leveling up. I personally can't use it all the time but I try to hit it a few times a day just to keep things going.

Hey everyone, after 2 weeks of data, I realized I was giving much more than I can handle. Like any game, this just needs to be rebalanced. Reward numbers as well as level up/next level numbers have been rebalanced. This is to show you that I intend to stay for a while, and instead of just shutting down, I am finding ways to keep it alive, and make everyone happy :) The higher levels have been impacted the most, but you are still earning a lot more than any other faucet! Also, I activated 10 minute claims again!

Yup, I mentioned to you last time that I often see startups that end with a whimper because they run out of fund too soon. Some drastic change is necessary, but while that may sustain your site much longer it would not make it the top site anymore. Don't worry about losing members. If your site is the highest paying, even with drastic adjustment people will still come.

Please don't use Xapo for payment. I've used it before and found several warning red flags that strongly indicate Xapo to be a high potential fraud. Why?

1st - None of bitcoin transaction doen with Xapo is ever registered at blockchain. Absolutely none. You can open an account with Xapo with a new bitcoin address and make transactions with that address and none of those transactions will be found at blockchain.

2nd - Xapo was started by Wences Casares. If you research this Casares' business pattern, you will find out that he is the kind of businessman that starts up a business, grows it big, and sell it off to a 3rd party for large sums of money. Now, what does this do with warning red flags? In order to use Xapo, we need to submit a lot of personal information, such as ID number, phone number, and email address, before we can do any transaction. What we don't realize is that such information is supposed to be very confidential but valuable for corporations to do a database profile on each of us (sort of for big data purpose). Today's most precious commodity is not gold or diamond, but individual profiles (such as a person's name, his age, his place of stay, his email address, his phone contact, his bitcoin account, etc) for numerous corporate and non-corporate purposes, be it ethical or non-ethical. Xapo even conducted a market survey a while ago asking for even more information of the users (such as the nature of employment, the level of income, etc). I strongly suspect Wences Casares is doing such information collection of its users to be turned into a database and later off sell to a 3rd party for large sum of money.

3rd - Xapo claimed to be offering low transaction cost but upon further checking found that it actually charges a lot.

4th - If you go to https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet, select "Web", and select "Xapo", you will find out that Xapo is 1) Money controlled by a third party, 2) Centralized validation, 3) Remote app, and 4) Vulnerable environment. All of these point to 3 things -  you have no control of your money, the process is centralized within Xapo's system (not public), and you have to trust Xapo for everything.

5th - I've lost some money using Xapo. At worse, Xapo can only get hold of my phone number because every other information I provided were fakes (Xapo has no legal right to get hold of private information). The rest (all the satoshis) were never allowed to be transacted by Xapo and never registered at Blockchain and lost to them. So I have direct experience in Xapo's fraud. It's one thing if transaction is not allowed because of the withdrawal limit, and another thing for all the satoshis claimed from faucets purported to have already sent to Xapo but never registered at blockchain. When 2 of such things happen together, I believe I smelt a big rat. Yes, I got the 5,000 satoshis when opening an account with Xapo but so what? I never got the money.

If you insist of using Xapo, fine. But it should be from your Xapo account to my address registered at blockchain.
If it is going to be from your Xapo wallet to my Xapo wallet, then rest completely assured I will not be using your site again.
Not because it's your fault, but because I will not get my money with Xapo, so why bother with sites using Xapo?

Ok so I did the math, and actually calculated how much each user can earn in a month... and currently ... wow I would never be able to pay that! So, I have to do a total remake of how leveling/rewarding is done.

Rewards are much lower than they were... much much lower. BUT you can level up significantly faster. Before you had to do over 200 claims once you reach the higher levels. Now, once you reach the higher levels, you can level up much faster. For example, once you reach level 15, you level up every 2 claims.

Basically now, you reach level 20 in about 3-4 days.

What this means for me: I can catch up in ad-revenue and people won't be carrying huge million satoshi balances.

What this means for you: Anyone with balances over 300,000 satoshi will be level 21... This means all you can do is cashout and start over. If you have a balance of 500,000 and up, your balance will be sent to a payment queue. I will do my best to payout everyone in the queue by a month, maybe two. You can check your progress in the queue daily so that you know when you'll be paid next.

I hope everyone understands the changes!! Thanks!! I'll see how this works out in the next week, and some changes may still be made. Thank you again for your patience!

I had to rebalance everything and I made a mistake when I made the changes live so people were getting really weird levels. I deleted the levels data and so it shows blank here. When they log in again, the levels will automatically go back to the correct number. They got this much because I messed up on some stuff and they were leveling up a lot. I guess the changes you made are understable in order to keep this Faucet alive. I started actively using this faucet over a week ago and managed to get a bit over 1m satoshis in total.

Yes since the change, I could find out who was using Bots to auto claim. Your address was auto claiming, even though you were earning 0 satoshis. Which only means you were not at your computer to see that you were earning nothing and had to enter the payment queue. You and the people who are using these bots are mostly to blame for me rebalancing the site. I will go through each person on the queue and go over their dispense history. If I see something suspicious (like claiming for 24 hours straight) then I will remove your balance.

Well, while i completely understand the need of rebalancing everything to a level where You can sustain the site instead of running dry all the time, i dont understand the actual values at some points. The moment when next leveling up increases time between claims actually lowers average income. Its especially visible at levels 5/6, 7/8, 10/11 and even worse at higher levels. While at those higher levels it's sort of a trade-off for the increased time between claims (15 and 30 minutes changes) and lower amount needed to level up, at the lower levels its just a huge loss, since You have to complete captcha quite often anyway, so 5 minutes isnt much of a difference.

Have You set it that way on purpose, or is it just unfortunate side effect of quite rapid need of rebalancing? Do You intend to fix it a little bit? Also, while it doesnt require many claims (only 2 per level), the average gain at levels 17-20 is lower than 20 satoshi per minute, which is lower than any level except 1st.

Yes this is quite intentional... It is sort of like Moon bitcoin, where you earn satoshi fast, but it slows down the longer you wait. But you still earn more satoshis if you wait til level 20 and cashout, then if you cashed out everytime at level 3.

I think it's good as it encourages many positive things like saving on transactions and also allows the website owner some time to earn revenue from ads which is what they are going to use to pay us. If I understand correctly the newly revised levels don't get much better after so high so withdrawing is not such a problem.

I have robot level 20 already, sadly it is very handicapped compared to what it was at the start. Later levels have been contracted such that there is only a few claims between them and barely any increase after achieving them. Claim time is also an issue being over an hour and more. At first I was very excited about this faucet, but now I am not sure it's worth to sit there in my browser, going to it through a rotator would be a different thing of course. Still hope it gets better in time, the idea is very nice :)

Yah I found that I couldn't sustain if the claims were very high, and you can keep claiming at only 20 minute with such high claims. There has to be a tradeoff between getting such high claims, and how many you can get. But you still earn more if you wait til level 20 and claim vs only claiming once you hit level 3. Of course the old way was very beneficial to users, but I couldn't keep up with it. I'm trying to find a happy medium between being the highest paying faucet, and still being able to stay around for the long run. Hope you can understand :)

Fair enough, I mean it's still one of the best faucets ;) And designed in a beautiful way, not just a page full of shitty ads like some others. It was just that at the start it was insanely good really and set a pretty high standard for itself. Did you consider including a possibility to claim a bigger prize or a jackpot even with a very low probability btw? Don't how it works for the others, but for me it is a big incentive to play, like on freebitco.in :)

If I don't claim for like 10-15 minutes, the faucet times out or something - when I claim the page just reloads nothing is claimed and I have to put in BTC address captcha and claim once more. However if I claim within a minute or two after time passes it works normally. Is this a known issue or is it working as intended :D I mean most of the times I got to claim two times for the same amount, because I'm always late :D
Maybe I have to change something in my browser, I don't know.

Very likely browser session or cookie lifetime issue .. It happens to me, too.
I recommend you to refresh a website before claim. You may have to re-enter your BTC address but you won't have to enter captcha twice.

Yes definitely there will be future tuning... I already have a week of data on the new changes so it's looking good and sustainable!! Will see how is over the weekend, but there will definitely be some added rewards to later levels.

Just out of curiosity, from what level are you talking about these new added features?
I'm not that high, but level 4, it's something :D

Level 4 and 5 are toughest, I think. After that it gets easier (fewer and fewer claims for a higher level)

I'll most likely add satoshis to levels 18-20. Lower levels are fine I think... It'll give more incentive to level up and finish game before cashing out.

The share bonus only works for the twitter and facebook buttons unfortunately :/

There are share buttons on bottom of your robot and it says share bonus 30%. Those are the ones that you use to share and get the bonus :)

Recently I noticed it takes a considerable amount of resources keeping it in a separate browser window, so since the payouts are on par with other faucets no reason to keep it longer in a sweet spot :(

It's like if I keep always open 10 really good faucets in separate tabs like freebitco.in etc and this one too it starts to lag a bit, but closing this faucet seems to speed the things up way more than any others, I don't know what causes it as there's not a ton of ads here, might be subjective still...

Yes, I agree that the site is a little heavy to load and without the quick turn-around times and lower payouts it's no longer always a tab I have open. I close the tab now after using the site until the next round. I used to keep it open all the time.

I have removed the one page format, so it should hopefully load faster.

I love the level up feature with 10 claims, but I find it weird how the rewards decreases when you 'level up' which is a little unfair,

Example from the power level to the next level, and Level 2 and 6 gives the same amount. Maybe you should set the increment of each level lower, for example 50 satoshis, but overall higher levels payout more ;)

Also I think that maybe you should set 10 claims to level up to 5 instead, and 1 hour to 'level down' when inactive, otherwise it would be hard to maintain the level :D

I'm trying to find a balance where I can still payout because I get my revenue from ads, so it's not very stable how much I'll end up getting. The way I had it before was that you earned a bit more from each level, but you can only claim a few times as well as the wait time increasing. I think the ability to claim 10 times during the power levels is quite generous. Would you rather have it only 5 claims from power levels, but I increase the regular levels a bit? In the end, there is a set amount a person should earn in a given month. So the question is: Would you rather have regular levels increase, but power level claim amount decrease, or regular levels decrease, but power level claim amount increase?

Another thing I could do is increase the wait time. So higher rewards- greater wait time, or lower rewards, lesser wait time? Should claim amounts be all the same, and wait times vary, or claim amounts vary, and wait times remain the same?

For me I would rather have regular level increase at the cost of less rewards during power levels.

 I like 15 mins faucet and I think you should keep the timer constant to prevent confusion :)

That's a good thing because i deliver you new customers and i did not see that now in my revenues, only a small bonus on the rewards 2%-5%.

Maybe you could implement a feature where every 'claim' you attack the robot. Let say at level 1 the robot's health is 1000. Each captcha entered will cause 100 damage, so if you defeat it, you get 1000 satoshis and go on to the next level, with increased robot health and attack!

That's nice but to make it more a game the robots can also recover. 24 hr no attack, will total recover the health of the robot or something like that. 2 x 24 hr no attack is level down, and so on.

Yes, I get this almost all the time. And even if the website works it works so slow that you can make coffee, come back it's still trying to claim. Not to mention if you leave it for ~10 minutes unclaimed and then claim you get an error and have to start from the beginning by putting in your address. It was a fun faucet, but I'm outta here :P

Alright the server was restarted and it should be faster! I am now back home and ready to work on the RPG version! I am going to have it more RPG like where you upgrade your weapons, energy, etc to get you through different levels. And the greater the level, the harder the robots but more rewards they give. Stay tuned!

I like the new attack robot system, but the site lags like hell.. almost always times out after I solve captcha and press attack, impossible to play for now for at least..

And fix the issue with sound, after every reload the sound alarm is ON once again and it's very annoying. Like when using at work..
