Long time lurker here and i decided to make an account , i mostly sell digital goods and program in my free time , i've made a program to get btc from faucets on autopilot and that helps a lot too ! :D

I shorted Bitcoin and earned most Bitcoin in 2013 when the price fall from 1,000$, it was a crazy time.


That's awesome, how many Bitcoin you earn from that program so far?

Used to make decent BTC trading altcoins from 2013 through to half way through 2014... that market has seriously dried up now but I'm waiting for it to recover.

I mined them until it has been possible and relatively cheap.
Right now I get only some satoshis from a defunct cloudmining service (pbmining still paying regularly... ::) ) then I buy some when I see good prices and I use a signature ad to add up some more.
I used to trade but this is not the right time, it requires so much time and energy to study the way too many patterns that are out there.
Oh, I also got some from translations.
One must be creative.

Digital Goods? Hm, what about bitcointalk accounts reseller? People would pay for these. (Especially the newcomers who want joining a signature campaign, too)

I buy bitcoin and earn some on the side with signature campaigns. People should change their expectations of getting bitcoin for free. The best way of acquiring a sizable amount of bitcoin is to buy it with fiat.

I've made around 4$ of bitcoins the past 2 days , i think with time i'll be able to get about 10$ a day might release it later on once i'm content with it :)

I have many ways to get bitcoin :

I do the following to earn Bitcoin:

1) Signature Campaigns
2) Sell Mobile recharges for my friends locally for Bitcoin
3) Buy stuff on my credit card and sell them for Bitcoin (based on orders from my friends)
4) Invest in gambling sites (alt coins) and then sell my profits for Bitcoin
5) Gamble a bit and win some (also lose a bit sometimes)
6) Buy alt coins when they crash and sell for btc when they rise (risk involved). I end up holding for a long time though sometimes.
7) Do micro loans to friends and get paid back with interest
8 ) Buy some from the left over in my entertainment budget every month (Money that i can afford to lose)
9) Use BTC faucets and have recently started one of my own to help others

Very interesting , i'm thinking about making my own faucet too , is there a guide , i know how to program in  C# , python and a little html :)

I got this faucet setup for free and linked it to my faucetbox account. I deposit the funds in faucetbox and the API picks it up from there for the payouts. If you ever decide to get one, maybe we can share ad banners to promote our faucets lol!  ;D

I have literally launched the faucet yesterday. So i am not really looking at any earnings right now. My priority is to drive traffic to begin with. I created the faucet with the intention of spreading bitcoin to the masses, not with a motive of profit in mind.. however if some profit comes my way, i am not too averse at collecting it.  ;D

Earned my first bitcoin through PTC and faucets,
then set up my own faucet which got me some referal income,
decided to join a sig campaign
last bitcoin I earned was with some drawings I did, that was the best bitcoin comming in ever :)

That's very nice of you , i think i'll look into programming some game/gambling sort of site but i gotta do some more research into it , i can't seem to be able to find some good references

I have yet to earn my first BTC.
I proposed a few clients to pay me in BTC, but they refused so far. I've bought the few BTC I have.

Yes, there's there are sig campaigns, but that only brings small change. No BTC.

i earn bitcoin from trading altcoin
and from signature campaign too, just to make a back up if i loss trading altcoin

I personally never gamble because it's high risk and also against my religion . I don't do trading aswell
So I only sell Digital goods (Steam games to be more specific) or I enroll in signature compaigns , works really well for me to be honest since I have a lot of free time those days without school .

A portion of my earning comes from advertising campaign from a few blogs that I own although indirectly the earnings are in fiat which I later use it to buy bitcoin. Currently in the process of negotiating with one of the customers whether the guy will directly pay me in bitcoin. The rest are mostly from signatures.

my main earning source of bitcoin is invest in under developmemnt altcoin and wait for future news to rise the price after sell it on big exchanges like bittrex and poloniex and 2nd i use to gamble some part of it on dice sites, so happy earning for all. ;D

All i do is participate in signature campaign and buy some coins once a time i get bonuses from job or something along this.

Tbh , i used to to make bitcoin via betting .. and lost all via betting.
so i kindly stop use it , now i hate gambling , Made from 20$ low bets , i made 1800$ and then lost them all in bets ..
But i maked the first money bitcoin via Selling games and stuff .

I spend a certain % of my monthly income on it, so im buying monthly for a year now or so. I also make some with the sig campaing but since it's peanuts I dont even count it.

Signature campaign, dice site investment and I buy it. I need to learn web design or something similar. You can make a nice amount providing services.

It's nice to see how many ways there are.

I like to write posts here and this is great way to earn for something you do anyway :)

'Different signature campaigns' do you have many accounts i take it?

I earn bitcoin from trading and then selling profits locally for a higher price in cash then i buy again at a lower amount and start the process again, i also post for signature campaign and earn a little extra each couple of weeks.

In the near future i hope to do loans and help the community and maybe make a little on top :0)

At the beginning;

I bought 25+ when price was below 10 USD(Year 2012)
I mined with FPGA and earned about 20+.

Then;

I traded with altcoins and earned some also.

I lost about 20 BTC at stocks and their exchanges(for ex: AM1)
I have also lost about 15 BTC at cloud mining (ltcgear)

Im mainly earning from altcoin trading and also fiat trading. (+ little amount from sig campaigns)

i am new in this bitcoin thing but i will go for signature campain.faucets need really hard work but dicussing sometopics and getting bitcoin is fun

I think that the only real way to earn a  good amount of Bitcoin is to buy them with Fiat. Other ways like others have said are Sig campaigns, faucets, gambling (you can lose), etc. If you really want some Bitcoin I would just give up some of your own money.

Hi welcome to the forum. Most ways to gain bitcoin "for free" are a bit of a waste of time if you want to earn a decent amount. The best way is to spend a certain % of your income on it and convert to Bitcoin. For me the sig campaing is a little extra.

I work for fiat then buy BTC. Effective and simple.

Thanks to price drop i have managed to buy some around 200$. Other than that i am trying to make some day trading and altcoins trading but with very little luck lately.

1. Mine BTC
2. Mine Altcoins then trade for BTC
3. Whore out my Datacenter Design and Network Security skills to BTC miners, and get paid in BTC

1. Mining BTC is no longer profitable if you are solo miner and have to buy energy without any discounts.
2. Mining altcoins is like hit and miss. Altcoins mining and then pump and dump scheme every time is just not good.
3. If you are not a tech person and just bitcoin enthusiast it something really hard to do.

For me , its not that hard to be honest since I'm a programmer , I basically enjoy programming on different freelance website , so what I do most of the time is asking my clients to pay me via bitcoin instead of the other payment methods (most of them accept since I have high feedback) but other decline and prefer to use the freelance website Milestone just in case .

Mine a little but mostly buy from fiat.

I mainly earn only through Signature campaigns and also by selling my gift cards or mobile recharge coupons for bitcoins. Faucets are used sometimes but now I have stopped as I barely make 20 cents weekly.

I'm very very new to this but so far:

1) I've bought a few quids worth - 59 euro to be precise
2) I've recently joined a sig campaign
3) Faucets, although I only go with the gambly ones that give me a teeny tiny chance of getting something significant once in a while (freebitco.in is mainly it, although I like luckybitfaucet too)
4) Gambling - lost my first 50 euro in a single drunken evening, but have played my 9 euro second purchase up to 1.3 bitcoin on swcpoker over the last few days :)

I'd like to find some more ways to earn it. I am a writer and about to release 6 chapters of my first book, so maybe I can find a way to offer that for Bitcoin as well as cash. And I might do a houseclear soon and sell the stuff I don't need for Bitcoin. We'll see.

1. It is very profitable for me. (I am very sure why people always say its not, obviously there are multi-million dollar datacenters doing just fine)
2. I just point them to a multipool and let it do the work (It just so I have scrypts to play with)
3. If I wasn't very good at it I would'n t offer it, so yes I am a super tech person (I can build you a MPLS network from the ground up using ethernet, DWDM, etc etc while browsing this forum and half asleep)

I get my bitcoin using the signature companies , also trading some apps I wrote for bitcoins.
Sometimes I use faucets but I don't get so much from faucets.
Also I forget that freelance and get paid with bitcoin is a good source of income
