Title: Top 10 items sold on Overstock.com for bitcoin
Post by: windpath on March 18, 2015, 01:42:39 PM
1. Sheets
2. Donations to non-profits
3. Headphones
4. Cases and holders
5. Area rugs
6. Cables and tools
7. Mattresses
8. Coffee tables
9. A/V cables
10. Fashion sunglasses

Pretty cool that donations is #2.

Sheets at #1 is surprising, maybe people madly stuffing paper wallets into their mattresses created a need? ;)

Huh, that is interesting. The only one that applies to me is a donation. They have that add a buck for wounded warriors. I bet that is why donations are #2.
Is overstock a good place to buy sheets? I don't know sheet about sheets.  :)

Interesting. My friend bought a xbox with bitcoin in there. I thought I would see videogame consoles at at least the top 10, but nope. It's funny how sheets is #1.

Nerds got rich so they are buying mattresses and silk sheets for all the women they are about to woo ;)

Seriously though, I would have expected more tech items to be on the list.

Definitely not what I expected but it at least shows the interests of our fellow Bitcoiners.

From the top 10 I would probably only be interested in headphones  :D

Weak Bitcoin holders have the need to change the sheets everytime the price goes lower by 10 dollars.

Why are bitcoin users going through so many bed sheets? Are we more sexually active or the opposite with more wet dreams? :P

No. I don't think so. I think all that sheets were bought by one or couple people at most. Maybe some bitcoin user who owns a hotel, motel, hostel or some kind of place like that bought a lot of sheets. I can't see any other option really.
