You know, bitcoin fans face the computer a lot, maybe with Fitcoin it encourage them to exercise more. Might be funny, but I think it would work. As I read in the yahoo article: "When you sync your band to the Fitcoin app and start your workout, it’ll automatically begin recording the length of your activity and the level of your heart rate. It would certainly provide extra incentive to workout. If they can get funding through licensing agreements etc. it would be one of the more creative bitcoin apps.

So if there isn't an incentive no one (or only a little group of person) will play for gain some of "health". Concept is very good no doubt but they have ran into non profit organization which they might not have thought before it's launch.

Are you seriously complaining because you wouldn't earn "enough" for doing something that benefits YOU to begin with? Most people I know work out for exactly $0.00.
